He has a quality build but nothing spectacular. I don't get why he is doing so well and no other DTs I have seen are producing against quality opponents. I have to admit, I haven't looked through all the AAA leagues, but I can't find any Pro DTs producing like this on a consistent basis.

What sucks is that I am starting to think the only reason he is doing well is because he was blessed with the x-factor. Does anyone know of other DTs at the AAA level that are producing?

Your build is probably better than you think.

There is no x factor.

Its probably also lower competition. Not all AAA leagues are made equal.

I don't think any other DTs have as much speed/FS as your DT does. I'm hoping (on my lower level DT) to end up with 95 str/90 spd/110 agi and 10 FS by level 60 and hopefully that will be effective.

Yea I wish I'd known how much speed you'd need when I started, now I can't even really get to 80. My next DT should be pretty solid though.

You do realize that you're basically a DE, right? You're playing in the LT/LG gap, and using the teleportation exploit that People's Elbow is infamous for.

Some are, although you have to blitz a player that is outside you so the LG is responsible for blocking outside man, and C is responsible for blocking DT. If teams move TE to block left then I doubt it would happen.

I will say, it IS nice to finally see some block shedding. I'm starting to think that I may have overreacted when I made that thread and ignored the fact that Gary is level 51 playing in the Pros. I mean...your guy has 10 levels on him. And he's playing in AAA. Gary is clearly way too low of a level to be in the Pros. It's too late now, just gonna take my bumps and bruises and perform better next season.

It may be a function of the speed/FS. Other DTs shed the block, many faster than mine, and a lot get more rev cakes. What may explain it is how fast he closes on the QB after he finally breaks the block which doesn't give QB enough time. It would be interesting to find hurries and instances where he breaks block but doesn't get a hurry and check the speed differences.

All i saw was a lot off poorly built DTs that couldnt even engage a sucessfull block on your guyz.

Yeah LGs, also lol bars if it were for bars my center was supposed to be like 10th ranked at the c position on WL

Also it's not like other DTs are doing anything in the same league
