Im building a elusive back, really am focusing him on spd/agil, i already have a quick cut AEQ on him and i recently rolled a +2 confidence, +lower Shoulder.

I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to take it as his 2nd piece and use some sps down the line to get LTS up over 8. and have that tackle break boost on top of great movement abilities. (im not gonna change his build plan, im sticking to it)

I think it could be effective, has anyone tried anything like this, what does everyone think?

well it's for backs that have strength so I would imagine unless you are going more of a combo back, it wouldn't be too useful.

It sucks on power backs.

While we're on this subject what about Stiff Arm SA

imo stiff arm is better than lower or p thru for elusive back. stiff arm is almost like spin in that you don't need ridiculous strength to pull it off. i wonder if it gives a bigger bonus to break tackle, but harder to pull off or something. i wouldn't use lower the shoulder without soft capped strength at least, and only then if you had nothing better.

I've noticed that Lower Shoulder triggers more than Stiff Arm. My guy has 5 Lower to 7Stiff ...but he is very strong.

On an Elusive back, I think I'd pass on the Lower Shoulder, if it's AEQ.

I like Lower the Shoulder on my Power Back.

I'd rather have High Knee than Lower the Shoulder. Apparently, Bort may have never been the lucky recipient of a knee to the head on a diving tackle. Only the really insane go back for seconds, after the world stops spinning.
