This is a stab in the dark because honestly, i have no clue what to make of the east this season. At least it's something for people to look at and maybe talk about.

==Fighting for a top 2 seed

1- CCCC- Definitely the class of the east so far. Haven't played any of the established eastern conference teams yet but i'm confident with this ranking

Everyone else has question marks. CCCC could possibly slip to 3 but i can't tell yet who out of the next 4-5 teams will be the 2 to challenge them for #1

==Making the playoffs and fighting for a home playoff spot.

2- Indy Gurupies- They lost to the Penguins and they've had a gut win already but i'm giving them a bit of past credit. I know the talent and GMs they have.

3- SOFPM- Losing to wala wala is kinda puzzling but they manhandled us over at Alpine. I was worried going into the game as i definitely noticed they improved a lot. Good team

4- Alpine Golfers- The win over the Marauders was real solid but getting snuffed by SOFPM hurt. I think we'll bounce back and we have a big showdown with Atlanta Penguins in game 6

5- Official Football Guys- Lost to the Battalion? I'll chalk it up to week 1 jitters. Despite the rebuilding they're looking sharp with the new guys.

6- Atlanta Purple Penguins- Started slow but are looking really strong now with wins over Indy and NMR. They get a week off this week against a NBSK team that has given up before a great week 6 game with Alpine.

==Probably making playoffs

7- NMR- They're 3-1 but their wins come against teams with a combined 0 wins (i'm counting NBSK with NAN until they have less than 40 inactives on their roster including their owner). Still a good team and i think will def make the playoffs but can't really put them ahead of the other 6teams

==I honestly have no clue. One of these teams will make the playoffs

8- Columbus Woodys- Played a tough schedule so far getting DLDT in the west to start out. They've only beaten essentially a gut job but i think they'll come out on top against some of the AAA teams. They seems pretty solid having just scouted them a bit. I think the Woodys will once again sniff the playoffs the only question is if they can get over the hump. Also, i have no clue who these other teams are and they've pretty much only played each other.

9- Steel Riders- I only say this because i'm AAA2 biased. Lost to the Cubes who aren't that good, played sofpm close though and beat two teams i've never heard of.

10 - Lousiville Nighthawks- Lost to steel riders so that's why they're here. I dunno. Maybe they can make the playoffs, maybe they'll gut by day 25. i dunno

===Probably not making the playoffs but will be semi-competitive

11- Louisville Baby Kittens- Beat KKAR but who knows what's happenign with those guys. Needed to notch a win against one of those 2 teams just barely above them and didn't. Not a good sign for a team who will battle them for the last playoff spot or two.

==Not good and will probably only beat other teams in this bracket and below

12- DDL- Actually looking relatively decent this year. Beat a pretty solid Austin squad in lolweek1 but not being able to beat an inactive NBSK team is kinda sad

13- Tennessee Fury- Getting beat every week but keeping it kinda close. Probably won't notch more than 4 wins this season

14- Key West Corsairs- Getting shellacked week in and week out

15- NBSK- Will their owner sign on again? I'm guessing they're just gonna merge and then switch drop down and start over or something.

==gut

16- NAN- Sucks that Bort couldn't have fixed this in preseason so another AAA team could come up and do poorly.

In true east style i'm guessing 3-4 east agents will pop in and say "thanks for doing this" and then the rest of the posts will be west agents overcompensating for not winning a title in forever

Damn, the east is pretty shallow this season.

I agree. We were last season too to be honest. A couple of teams had a slight edge, two more right behind, then a fair dropoff. I would be surprised if the Conference Championship wasn't two of these three teams: ***O***, CCCC, Gurupies.

We haven't played anyone tough other than the Penguins though, so maybe I will be surprised.

Also, ***O*** is 1-4 versus the West in Game 1 the last 5 seasons. Not sure why, but we are always starting slow.

Nice job - after the 1st quarter it is still pretty hard to figure out who is for real this season. The competition in the East is definitely not what it was before the introduction of the WL.

I mean, i think the top 6 teams have the ability to upset one another and have an outside shot of making the conference championship game with an upset. Some good games coming up in the next 4 games that will show us more

I'm hoping we can tun it around. Pretty solid team that has played some pretty good teams so far.

Appreciate the writeup. I would say it's a fair summary, as most here are unfamiliar with one another.
