Anyone have a WR with near 100 agility and heavy doses of Juke,
I'm starting down this path and was hoping to see if it works at all...

I'm on my way there now, level 15 with near 90 agility, planning on upwards of 100 agi and 85+ speed 70+ vision and 70+ confidence and I hope i can fit carrying in there... lol

I would suggest going 68 speed, agility, vision and carrying and using EQ all in speed for a Juker. I'm not sure 100 agility is needed nor is 70 confidence.

Your build is pretty close to where my guy wants to be, except i'll take the carrying instead of the confidence, to see if it helps juking, plus might add some spin in there as well..
I'll keep an eye out on your guy thanks!

Shouldn't you have confidence in order to pull off a fake?

A con man, or confidence man, is all about deception.

It makes sense from a certain point of view, but who knows how the calculations are performed.

Are there are any high confidence running backs out there?

I want to experiment with confidence over carry, no one seems to ever do anything with it at all, I have no clue how it affects builds in this game as most people seem to say it gives a small boost to performing everything, but I want to give it a try and see how it goes... who knows bort may even buff it before i finish rounding the build out

Morale is like a weight. You play the game and the weight gets heavier.
If your confidence is high you can handle the weight. Every bit chips you away though, because as you begin to fail your morale drops faster.
But that sounds way more dramatic than it should; in reality you don't require much, and in this case it's more about what you require than what you can obtain. A player can have their attributes raised only so far within a career, and the sacrifice of important attributes (important to excessively pursue) like speed, agility, strength (as HB is a very physical position) will suffer if you spend too much time on confidence.
I'd say since it's a major you ideally should raise it before jumping, stamina, blocking, throwing and catching for maximum value, but after strength, speed, agility and vision. In my experience, confidence is comparable to carrying in demand.

I mean, I don't want to make it sound like all HBs are cut and dry and require high speed, strength and agility (or some extraordinary amount of two of the three) to achieve anything, but they pretty much do.

As for WRs, I don't put any faith in confidence. Raise strength and carrying a little so you don't fumble and confidence is no longer necessary.

Well has anyone actually raised confidence that high and seen what it does, or are you just extrapolating based off of what you have seen?

I just want to do somethign different off of a hunch, and if it doesnt work then oh well, but if it does then everyone will be copying my build and confidence will be the new speed... or maybe not, but I don't want to do what everyone else is doing, people complain about WR's not working and how passing is broke enough already, I'm not going to make a build like everyone else and add my voice to the complaints.

You can't talk about doing things differently around these parts....or you get ran out of town.....
you have the build the optimal build based on math and numbers, or you are a newb....

I hope you follow through with the confidence build, i like to experiment also, and haven't done a confidence type build on any players yet.

I have a wr with 106 spd and 100 agil he has been nothing special. Looks no different then my 115 spd 75 agil wr except for the fact that he runs slower.

I love people thinking outside the box and experimenting and not listening to what everyone else has to say sometimes.

sometimes..

but the high confidence builds I have seen, and Ive seen a few.... havent done well.

thats just my 2 cents though.

and one of the things I hate to see is the "you wont succeed at the pro level" posts.
not everyone is going to even make it to the pro, let alone cares.

so the best advice I could give a WR is thus:

read the forums a lot. look at all the guides and the wiki and start from there.

now build a few WR's based on what you read, and also what you think might be best and see what happens.

do your homework!!! not everyone who claims to be a GLB genius is one. we all have opinions and we all know what those are.. right?

continue to read the general forums as well as player specific forums and always compare your WR's to others of the same lvl as you go to see how its going.

unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint, GLB changes and so do builds.. to some extent.
WR's for example.. will always need a decent amount of speed and agility to do well at ANY lvl. other than that.. I have seen builds be succesful at different lvls from pee wee to world . but the best way to have fun is to have fun!!!

then..... once youve seen what works and what doesnt for yourself rather than what others say, start over and finally have fun

welcome to GLB

I kid.

sorta.
