How useful is "Catch ball chance" AEQ for a WR? Should I upgrade it or keep shopping for something better (like First Step or Quick Cut)? He is level 64, and has catching at 65.

I got that as mines secondary AE, it basically sured up all the drops he did have, and now can be frustrating because he catches most passes at him even when they get deflected, or are bad passes. I like it as a use until you roll something with stat mod and an SA

does anyone know if it helps keep passes from being "knocked loose"?

I've never seen anything definitive on this (though with all of the scattered responses from Bort, who knows, it's probably out there somewhere). My suspicion is that it does not. I *think* the catch roll series (i.e., pd, catch, drop, etc....) is independent of the knocked-loose roll series (i.e., you made the catch roll, but are subsequently hit and the ball is knocked loose). If that's the case, my educated guess, based on the fact that the VA modifiers are seperate, is that a +catch% piece would only modify the first series of rolls, and not the second.

That said, if anyone has anything more definitive, I'd love to see it too....
