well a lot of people have built recievers with speed in the near 110 to 120 with equipment. But i figure with how people are learning how to actually build players the defense should catch up a bit and then you will actually need a reciever with speed near 130 to 140.

So i guess the question is can it be done and what steps you need to do it. keep in mind you have to figure your agility has to be at least 80 in order to take advantage of your speed, maybe higher.

Also would it be worth building. you have to consider the fact it would cost you a lot of points in other areas and you would have to count on training to cap certain skills.

I figure if you want this kind of build you will nearly have to invest all in speed till near level 25 and then hit agility for about 15 plus levels.after that you can invest in other things.

finally what would you want your speedster tree to look like.

ps not to take credit from viscount but he started a thread looking for anyone with speed in this vicinity.

I tried this once....

Started out with 19 speed, got to 7:1 cap by 21.

Think I had 83 nat speed with training rollover. By level 56 or so, and with training rollover, that will level up to about 89 natural speed. With equipment that gives you 127 speed at level 56. I retired before I got there, but had it planned out. +3 speed combined on your CEQ gets you to your 130 magic number by level 56 (which would also be around the time you started pumping SAs).

Taking Agility to 6:1 as well took until 40, but by then you can have Catching-Carrying-Stamina trained close to 40, and then move into vis-conf or jump-vis.

After that, take Catching to 61--->62.

Sacrifices of taking Speed and agility so high are catching (61), vision (55-60), Jumping (no cap), Stamina (40ish), Conf (48), but that was just my plan i suppose.

I will also recommend not going past 77/80 speed....not worth it at a certain point.

i have a projection of my WR's build lying around, i'll paste what he's got at level 56...
95.61 (+6 +32 = 133.61) speed
72.61 agility
24.61 jumping
62.61 catching
44.61 agility
38.98 carrying
39.61 vision
37.98 confidence
37 SP on hand for SAs, but they could pretty much go anywhere. Had planned on getting AEQ in RR and/or FS, and spending SP in whatever I need to to get both up to 10.

Confused....
I'm assuming you have 72.61 agility and 44.61 stamina, not agility.

anyway, I don't think agility or vision are high enough if you want to build a pure speed WR. Vision should probably be at 60 to help catch balls in stride. Agility for keeping you as close to optimal speed as possible when cutting, and acceleration.

I have never tried RR but FS would be an absolute must for a burner (even though it hasn't been firing for me as much this season?? weird).
