I saw a post in here that was a great analysis for JTS and its impact before and after applying this and I cant find it anywhere. This analysis actually showed the player movement speed, ticks, and the improvement JTS gave the Dlinemen off the snap.

Is is pretty much agreement by all that the first VA a Dlineman should get is JTS?

Any help is appreciated.

To answer your question..No infact a lot of people never use jts..Theres a lot better to go first..Pass rusher, heavyweight, etc

thanks floods, that was the post!

InstantClassic, you obviously have never used it nor have read that thread. To say pass rusher, which triggers at best only on 3rd downs, or heavyweight which is only for knocking down a blocker arent even top 3 for Dlinemen, especially DTs. I would much prefer an .5% increase in strength for DTs and sure tackler.

Well for one when you say dlinemen that means de too..And normally jts is more related to de..So I was to know you meant dt ?..Which btw..Heavyweight is one of THE biggest vas for dt..And pass rusher is one of THE biggest vas for a de

I'd take quick/track star over pass rusher personally. JtS and Heavyweight are solid for DTs and DEs, JtS less so for DTs. Pass rusher's overly conditional to make it a frontrunner, not to mention I haven't seen results from it, probably due to OT's having a nullifying VA.

Yea they have a nullifying va..But not adding to it gives them the advantage..Instead of having thiers nulled as well..And yea its situational..But it can be worked out..CJ has it at 100/99 rotation rate between my de and another on vks..So it works out where my de hits the field first and third down where half his snaps pass rusher is active..Also being able to go in to the ai and force starters in..It can be worked out to always have your guy in on third down..So its not that situational

Awesome, so the choice is no pass rush and 15 vp invested in a useless va, or no pass rush. I'll put those vp into an attribute va that'll be active for 40+ plays vs. the one that'll be active for 6 just to balance out an OL's va.

So you get shut down on 3rd, easy enough. I think of it this way. Its already 3rd down, you only have to stop them once more to force a kick. Or you could try and force a fumble or a TO on 1st and 2nd then hope your guy doesnt get blocked onto the sidelines on 3rd. Now with the ai tweaks Instant was talking about its a lot less situational. I think well see a lot more "pass Rush Situation only" DEs instead of DEs just amping up speed to horde stats until AAs then getting pancaked 15+ times a game.

Yes but by that logic only getting a +3 from 15 points is useless too beings your guy will be out matched by about 20 in 2 categories on quite a few snaps..None the less this is about rather everyone uses jts and the answer is no..My de is probably one of the best at his level and he does just fine without jts

I switched my DT from JTS to Heavyweight, hope I made a wise decision.
