I'm looking to make good use of my VA reset this season. My key stats include:

62 STR / 64 TCK
105 SPD / 74 AGI
80 VIS

I currently have 15 in Jackhammer, 15 in Power Tackler and 11 in Sure Tackler. I'm looking to zero out Power Tackler as that got nerfed big time. I'm looking at Ball Hawk and Football Genius (vision). He's used pretty equally in coverage and run support.

Definitely Ball Hawk. Number 1 S VA in my mind now that ZS was nerfed

How did Power Tackler get nerfed? I missed that.

Yeah, i think OP is wrong Power tackler was not nerfed to my knowledge

PT + ST used to be OP, but that was a couple seasons ago. PT just isn't that great imo.

If you play a lot of zone, ZS is probably your best choice.

Bad wording on my part......more like it was the bomb 2 seasons ago when it seemed 1 out of 3 kick returns resulted in a FF. My SS didn't force a single fumble last year. I agree with Asheme inasmuch as PT just isn't that great a VA these days.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will find out how much zone we're playing before deciding between BH and ZS.

power tackler is terrible unless your build is compeltely build around getting fumbles. so many statwhores waste their vetpoints on it with only 60-65 str/tkl and too little monster hit, big hit, growl, and not helmet crash or intimidator va. People just like wasting their vetpoints for nothing i guess.

so what VA's do you guys recommend for a run stopping SS?

eventually i want sure tackler so i can play on balanced or hard tackling setting, but i don't have the tackling for it yet.

whats the reason behind power tackler not being good anymore?

edit: only have 8 VA points atm

Zone Specialist and Ball Hawk will work great with Jackhammer.
