I don't think I'd retire although he is still not ready for prime time until you can cap vision which is a ways away. Why go through all the effort of getting strength and agility ridiculous high to retire before he can get his SAs? By level 52 or 53 he should be pretty effective.

Get rid of Monster Hit and try for Shed Block or TV. Other than that, looks good.
