does it work or is the effect so small that it wont help at all?

Not enough DE's spend their points on blocking. Please try it and report back.

Actually many have tried it, and they typically fall into these category:

1) Those adventurous types that cap blocking before they cap anything else, and not surprisingly their DE is shit

2) Those more reasonable ones that cap blocking AFTER they cap spd, and agi, but again they didn't notice anything substantive and they usually quickly retire their players after that.

3) Those more patient ones that build a DE right, and cap blocking after their satisfy with spd, agi, vis, str, etc. However, once again they noticed capping blocking does shit.

My theory is the OL you're going up against is going to have 40-50 blocking on you even if you 2:1 cap blocking, so unless you are thinking about 4:1 capping it you might as well even the playing field by adding more to SAs, spd, agi, str, etc.

yeah well it won cost too much just training it to around 30... with decent STR and some shed block it could be worth trying

Falls into the 2 and 3 catagory - http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=395583

Has had blocking at around 40-41 for over 3 seasons. 100+ agility, 70+ strength and 8 in shed block. Saw no real change after getting blocking extremely high. Still didn't perform against equal competition.

I think I fall into category 3. Loaded up on shed block too cause I thought it would help break blocks but really it is shite.

I'm in them iddle fo training a STR based DE with blocking as his secondary attribute to see if I see any major increase in broken blocks and rev-cakes... would be awesome if I could find a pancake SA on some AEQ... he's just an experiment though and I don't know if I'm going to see any worthwhile improvements from him.

Before I do damage to any builds, I should mention the DEs in question are dedicated special teamers
