Hey all, in no particular order I am going to give opinions and a little analysis on each team. Last season EEPL was easily the best league in the entire GLB world. Not because we were competitive, not because we think we have the best teams in the game. We know where we stand in the League Standings lol. The reason we were the best League was because we were Civil and mature to each other throughout the season. We did rankings and predictions. We made this league fun. I am going to start things off a little early to kick this Season off right. Enjoy everyone...

Zeta: This season looks to be a special one. It has been stated many times that this conference and its 8 playoff seeds are up for grabs. Anyone on any given day can beat anyone. There will be no trash this season and the best team may not even win the conference. Every week will be a dogfight and everyone will have to put max effort into making the playoffs this season. I firmly believe a 12-4 or 11-5 record could win the conference this season.

* Omaha Spider Pigs *

Omaha enters the season on a very impressive 58 game win streak. 3 Championships in 3 seasons in nothing to snarl at. Still having said that the jury is out on them. Noone knows how they will compete at the PRO level. I personally think they will be competitive. The biggest knock on them is having Pro level talent and winning in the lower leagues. The key word is Pro level talent. As stated the talent is there, but are their tactics going to be enough to win at the PRO level? Only time will tell...

* Odessa Mojo *

Odessa enters the season on an even more impressive 80 game win streak. I know for a fact they have the coordinators, and I also know they have the talent. But alot of teams have equal or better Talent and coordinators that are just as good. I see Odessa being as competitive as anyone. Coming from me personally the winning streak stops this season, but Minus_The_Pain has pointed our several times that every season in every league someone says that and it has yet to happen. I'm excited to see what happens with this team.

* C-Town Hoodlums *

C-Town started off last season a little shaky. But won 12 in a row to take the 2 seed in the Zeta conference playoffs. Even with the demotees of the World League C-town has to be considered a favorite. They produced last last season and there is no reason to think that they won't do the same this season.

* Russian Revolution *

The Revolution's defense is going to be a key factor for them this season. That defense earned them a #3 seed in the playoffs last season and to be honest they were never blown out of the water. Only 5 teams were able to score 20+ points on them and noone scored more then 27. Look out Zeta LT is out for revenge and his defense is his calling card.

* Philadelphia Demonik *

Philly was competitive int heir AAA league last season, but they were blown of the water by fellow promotee Odessa. I think they are a 5-6 win team at best. But who's to say they won't win more. Sometimes its the teams you least expect to make noise that make the loudest. I know Philly is up to the challenge, lets see how far their heart takes them.

* Portland Niners *

The Niners are very welcome here. They have already been given props by several teams and agents and they volunteered to take that nasty little CPU teams spot in Zeta. A spot none of us were happy about. So Welcome Niners you are life savers and just made this league even better. The Niners will compete their entire roster is primarily season 2/3 players and we all know that as each season passes those players become the ones to beat. They got beat pretty bad a few times last season. Until they show me something though I'm going to givem a bottom 12 finish.

* Buffalo Warzone *

Last season Promotee surprise. The Warzone were the #4 seed in the Zeta conference playoffs last season. They did come in a little cocky but they honestly got brought back down to earth really quick. Win recent additions this team could be even better. This team is going to be a top 5-6 team in Zeta. But they will be in a dogfight every week.

* Tallinn Tigers *

Tallinn look impressive last season and at one point people thought they may be the team to beat. They were the #5 seed in last seasons playoffs but got hammered badly by the Warzone. Tallinn is going to be out for revenge this season and I have a feeling they are going to do what they do best. Be productive and win some football games.

* Estonian Wife Carriers *

EWC got hot mid-season. Winning 8 of their last 11. They were beaten 27-6 against C-town in the playoffs. Typically EWC is a great team and won't let a fluke season gettem down. Look for them to rebound and show everyone what happens when you carry your wives all the time. An offseason to let the muscles recover has them primed, stronger and ready to roll.

* The Wheatfield *

With the Wheatfield you get what you get. A decent team that has the chance to upset anyone. Never count them out, yes they had some bad losses but with some offseason upgrades and a little elbow grease this team could easily bring the hottest and best teams back down to Earth. Mark my words, look out for The Wheatfield.

* The Cape Town Cubicles *

The Cubicles didn't have a great season in Alpha last season, but are optimistic about joining Zeta this season. A request that didn't get answered for far to long. Well I'll be honest, last season was the one to be in Zeta. This season Zeta is the conference to beat and will be the most competitive. Leave one hell, come to a worse one. Hope you're ready to bring it every game, because their are no gimmies here.

* Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets *

Emmaus will not be the dominant force they once were. They are going to rely heavily on their starters. To many 30's and 40's on the roster to really make any noise. But it has been stated int he forums that they are going to be as competitive as possible. But any team that has done what they have done the last few seasons deserves respect.

* Rome Raiders *

Rome had a rough first PRO league season. Only winning 5 games. But from past experience never count them out. I know the PRO level competition was better then the AAA they were used to but Rome has always been a winner. Will they turn this season around and compete for a playoff spot? We'll see.

* Stuttgart Blitzkrieg *

Good Ole' Stuttgart back from the World League and looking to get back to what it does best win. Stuttgart is definitely a favorite and noone is going to tell me or them otherwise. Their is a reason they made it to the World League in the first place. A top 3 team without question.

* Stalingrad Gryphon Army *

Many consider SGA a favorite. In alot of people's mind SGA has already won the conference and are punching their ticket to the World League already. But if last season is any indication a veteran team in the playoffs can pull an upset and cause a major shakeup to the so called "Favorites". SGA the conference/league are yours to lose.

* Black Sea Buccaneers *

Black Sea is also a proven winner that had some first PRO league season jitters. I look for them to also compete for a playoff spot. Black Sea didn't make to many upgrades, but I think that if the GPing were there last season they would have been a playoff team. Will the Black Sea staff do what it has to do to make a run this season? Lets see...

There are none and will be none. It is impossible to pick anything in this conference right now. It would all be opinions. That's why we decided to go with a basic analysis and nothing more.

Just great stuff. Really impressed Mike.

To the win streak guys .. no one is saying you are going to suck. Most are saying your win streaks mean nothing now. You guys are rooks until you show otherwise. Every season there is 1 AAA promote that surprises. I'd love to see every game matter, it's been a few seasons since Zeta had that. Looking like a great season to me too.

GL everyone.

The top 6-7 teams are all gonna be a toss up I think. All of them are looking solid. I kinda wish the Hoplites had hung around for another season lol, but we couldn't pass up a chance to go to the World League.

I think it could be Russian Revolutions year though. They've always been pretty good, and with the decline happening before the playoffs for a lot of players on the other top teams, RR will be sitting pretty with their full roster of season 2 players.

Either Buff or Taillinn will suffer the soph slump. THe lean is on the TIgers

I like EWC (they need to have the time - it was evident to me they couldn't put it in last season - i feel their GMs are solid if they can commit), Hood, SGA. and Stut. I can see SGA cruising to the 5th seed and then laying the wood in the playoffs.

Russians .. and LT, don't break my leg .. your D is amazing but your O needs more random.

Hoplites will accept any challenge from Zeta. We should have a lighter scrim sched this season.

But how will people look back and make fun of you?

Good job, BTW. These types of things always add interest and distract others from game planning !!! hahahaha.

Can't say I disagree with the opinion on the Pigs. We've got great talent. We know how to win....and we've been destined to be in the PRO league for a couple seasons now. I'm looking forward to the competition.
