A magnitude 7.6 earthquake hit Indonesia's Sumatra island on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The death toll is currently at 467. The hardest hit area was the city of Padang.

So from the fake dot football team, the Padang Orangutans: our thoughts and prayers go out the everyone affected by this tragedy.

Is it wrong that when I saw that on the news I thought of your team?

No, I thought of our team also. Kinda weird. I also am praying for those caught in this terrible tragedy.

On a side note, it appears our stadium made it through unscathed. We credit that to good construction.

Tbh, whenever I see/hear any of these cities, I think of these teams. I was reading something about Bali the other day, and it reminded me of the Waves. Kinda sad, huh.

In an absurd bit of news, Padang Orangutans will play this season in the New Orleans Superdome while their damaged stadium is rebuilt.

My brother in law was a Mormon missionary (years ago) in a village that no longer exists now. Just heartbreaking.
