I am creating a FS that has a very high Vision / Speed combo to start. I have rolled two CD AEQ's that I have equipped and currently have up to 6 (no sp's) between the two.

My question is if I pump CD up to say 12+, will that make up for low agility?

I'll take my answer off of the air.

well CD will help your FS ..... change direction when he is already at full speed, and maintain it better.

However the delay of getting to the top speed will still be the same.

so he'll have the same problem of getting up tp speed, however he will be able to change directions without losing the speed....

it will a bit, but FS don't need super high agility anyway (anything over 70 is over kill) Ball Hawk, and Zone Specialist are what makes up for the lower agility

If you are going to have high speed, you need at least a fair amount of agility. The CD should help a bit. But you still need to build up agility. After you are done with speed and vision work on agility. Get it to at least 48. By level 40 you should have agility to at least 60. It really depends on how high you are going to take speed. Watch the games. Pay attention to the effect raising agility has on your player. If you pay attention you will be able to figure out when you no longer need to add more agility.

Isn't there some sort of ratio for spd to agi? something like 3:2 and if it's less than that you won't really be able to utilize your speed...

When I built my most recent safety, I took speed up to 68+ pretty quickly without touching agility. The lack of agility was noticable. When I started adding to agility, I also did something it seems like a lot of people around here don't do - I actually watched the games. As I added agility I noticed some things. My safety would get up to speed quicker and would also turn in a tighter radius. I noticed that as I added points to agility, there was less and less improvement in her performance to the point where when I raise her agility from 63 to 68 there really wasn't any noticable improvement. Equipment has always been in speed. As her speed increased through the equipment upgrades there was some improvement in speed. I have since added to the Change Direction. There has been some improvement, but not much. I'm not sure how valuable that is.

I don't know why people think in terms of ratios with speed and agility. It's not a ratio, it's a matter of having enough to do the job. I am sure that if I had less speed the addition of more agility would have had less of an impact.

You really need to watch the games and pay attention to your player's performance. My conclusion was based on how my player performed. While I do get ideas from others in these forums I base my builds on my own observations. While there is a lot of good information in these forums there is also a ton of garbage as well.

A ratio that works? I don't think so.
