I'm going with a run-heavy offensive attack next season and I desperately need some advice on how to build a Pee Wee Blocking FB as this will be key to our success as an offense. My FB won't carry or catch the football ever, just blocking.

What attribute(s) are most important and in what order?
How important is vision in lead blocking?
How important is the blocking attribute for a FB?
Should I invest in SA's at the Pee Wee level?

Answers to these questions, plus any tips/advice you can give me will be much appreciated!

I don't pretend to be a peewee expert, but here's how I'd go about it:

1) Strength to first cap
2) Agility and Blocking Intense train
3) All equipment in Speed
4) Take the 1st 2 "easy" SPs in "Run Block" SA--they cost only 1 SP each.

All of the above is assuming that your FB is the throw-away variety--that you're not keeping him past peewee. If you ARE keeping him past peewee, don't put SPs into SAs until several seasons down the road.

Yes, assuming it's an 1-and-done player, cap strenght and get speed, agility and blocking up to 30s, with all EQ in speed.

Yeah he's a one and done, but what about vision? Does that help a FB to locate blockers?

I totally disagree with the first few posters about peewee FB.

Train speed and agility on intense.

Put points equally into speed and agility, and when you hit 28, switch intense training up to strength and blocking, but keep putting points into speed and agility to 1st cap.

I brought Chessic to the 2nd round of the playoffs in peewee this past season, and I was really happy with my FB. If you don't build him right, he'll never get out in front of the runner.

For PeeWee 1 and done, this. I think FB is one of the most critical positions on a PeeWee team.

yes vision is important to block the right guy. Speed should at least match the HB he is blocking for.

I know this is a lobster, but pee-wee FBs are my specialty.

PM me for pwfb advice.
