Everyone I've talked to only has less than stellar things to say about it.

That being said I am 1 season into building a player specifically for that SA. My goal would be to build a player with Eddie George as the NFL model for him.

Right now imo there really isn't. If the game was more realistic and getting an extra yard on 50% of your runs was important, it would be. But this is not a realistic game and as long as it's commonplace to run for 5-10 yards or even more on average, d4y is not worth investing in.

It used to be, but it got toned down and isn't as useful anymore. It's still mildy useful, but not worth getting up to high levels.

In the hands of a Powerback running up the gut its invaluable, IMO. It seems to kick in at just the right time. Maybe I'm just lucky, or because I have it at 8 but when its 3rd or 4th and a couple yards, my team runs it up the middle with my PB, and even if he gets tackled before the first down marker, the dot magically appears past it. Or if he gets tackled right on the line where it'll usually give 4th and inches or turnover on downs, D4Y gives him the 1st down.

It's useful, but don't OD on it. My only regret is getting it so high. 5 or 6 with AEQ is fine.
