We didn't get a great turnout like I had hoped, but it was on short notice, so I'm not too surprised. Still, got plenty of great comments and some bold predictions for this round. For those of you that have access to the private forum, please try to get your next round predictions in there tomorrow morning, as it would be nice to get a lot of input for the Conference title game!

1. Hellas Hoplites VS 4. Buffalo WarZone

comeasur337 - Hoplites are too good not to win this, though it might be closer than they'd like. Buffalo should be a big contender for the title next season with the improvements they've shown and the way they contended their first year in Pros. ST will be a huge part of this game and that favors Hellas like always. Hellas 41 - Buffalo 28

evileyez - Buffalo, wow - expected a win but that was dominance. Sometimes you never know what to get from the new guys; everyone knows that the playoffs are another level of game planning. The top teams can get into gear and cruise; they know how to win when it matters. It's a level that is different at each tier in GLB, and why the new teams take awhile to find their groove. Buff got a good draw facing another new guy and blew them out of the water. I'd say they found the level but how do they handle a veteran team?

In typical Hellas fashion they struggled for much of the first half against the Monkeys before hitting the gas. The attrition game has worked well for us this season. Buff came out strong against Hellas in their earlier match-up, again getting up in the 1st by making the plays that have to be made. They will need to do that again, forcing turnovers and converting their chances - throughout the entire game. You play even with Hellas, we are leavin. Buff has the talent pull it off but this is Hellas year. Hellas by 13, but it won't be pretty.

mike2686 - Things get more serious this week. The last time Hellas played Buffalo it was a great game, until the 2nd half that is...... Buffalo will need to really focus on ST's to pull this one off. Hellas has a complete team and has shown it all season. The X-Factor for the teams in this game is simple. Buffalo needs P Braylen Randolph to have another performance like he did against Tallin, Buffalo will need to make the field as long as possible for Hellas and keep the ball out of Miller Miller's hands. I hate to say this lol but Hellas Advances to the Conference Title game. Hellas- 38 Buffalo- 24

millertime31 - Buffalo played a great season, newbie of the year, they´ve kept up the tradition of AAA teams in round 2, Odessa, C-Town, RR all surprised the league, RESPECT. The number one passing offense will give Hellas a fight, but the story ends here. Hellas reminds me of the season 10 Ballers, they are good at every aspect of the game, you wanna beat them you´ll have to find solutions to all these aspects and that´s not going to happen. I´ve called it before and I´ll do it again - Hellas goes 20-0 and Hellas by 20 in this one. in advance --> shut up Alpha

2. C-Town Hoodlums VS 6. Lafayette Ragin Cajuns

comeasur337 - This one could go either way. C-Town has an impressive regular season record, but LRC is a mainstay of the Zeta playoffs and just barely missed out on making the World League last season. Talent is probably about even, though I'd give the edge to C-Town's offense vs LRC's defense. This one might come down to gameplanning, and going on 1st round results, LRC will pull another upset and advance to the conference title game. Lafayette 48 - C-Town 42

evileyez - Both come off impressive wins. First, LRC. That was not the defense we've seen all year, someone woke up the sleeping giant. If the offense comes together, hard to know too much as the Russians have a pretty good D, LRC is suddenly the team no one wants to face, the team that was the top dog going into the season.

Hood has the 1 point win over LRC early, which kinda kick started their undefeated run. Absolute smacking of EWC - 200yds total offense vs almost 500 by Hood - that's about as impressive as you can be in this sim. Certainly looks like they decided to game plan too.

We've got 2 teams that have turned it on - the old relics and the young punks! Hood has the better offense. LRC the better defense. Offense wins in GLB. Hood by 6. Going to be a great one.

lemdog - LRC looked damn good against RR and has really turned it on since the second half of the season. It will be interesting to see if the GM's can get these old veteran dots to come to play. I know they have the builds to beat any team in EEPRO as they have proven throughout the seasons at this high level.

The Hood just came off a solid victory over EWC where their defense held them to just 2 FG's and the offense had just enough big plays to control the game from the beginning. JP and Jrry have already started gameplanning and they will know the dots of LRC like no other.

The regular season matchup was won by The Hood 21-20 but really could have gone either way as it came down to the final seconds. Both teams have worked out their chemistry issues with daily group meetings between disgruntled dots which leaves no excuses. This will be another tight game but The Hood will pull away towards the end with a 27-17 victory

mike2686 - This makes for an interesting matchup and is a tough one to call. C-town only beat LRC by 1 in their regular season game and LRC has show by taking out RR that they aren't here to play around. LRC is one of, if not the most veteran team in EEPL. I am going to go with LRC here in a close one. After the way the 2 teams battled it out during the regular season i wouldn't expect anything less. LRC- 41 Hood- 31

millertime31 - "The Hood is good" is their motto and they´ve proofed it. From a respectable season 10 team to the number 2 team in the league is a great effort. They have showed controversial performances during the season vs weaker opponents, but when you look at their coaching stuff, you know it´s a matter of gameplaning, they just took it easy in some games. Now facing LRC they gonna be prepared, but "Jack Tack giving whacks" has still one stellar preformance in his tank and so does LRC. Lafayette is back and they gonna give the Hood a hell of a fight. If I wouldn´t be biased by tradition I´d say C-Town by 5, but I say LRC by 1
