Do you get any enjoyment out of watching him, or from being a part of the team?

If yes, then don't retire.

If no, then retire.

Keep him, there's so many shoddy L50+ DTs out there it isn't true. Your guy isn't bad at all. Let me know if you're looking for a home for him

He definitely has a good build. Equipment upgrades and boost pushes him to 115 agility. Could put the sp into speed until he gets 77 cap. However, why let other people decide whether or not you should retire the player.

I GM a team with 13-3 record in same league and an EE Pro team that made the playoffs, both of which would love to have him.

He probably has close to the same base attributes as my DT

Difference is equipment placement, my DT has 8 first step from 2 AEQ pieces, opponents, and probably the way I use the DPC and D-AI vs how his DC uses them.

well, it's mainly because he hasn't been doing much the last couple seasons. and i'm also to the point where i'm out of FP to boost for more than one season, and I'm not going to spend anymore in this game (already spent enough). So I figured if a greater consensus thought it was a bad build, I'd have an excuse to retire him .

I took off his equipment, but the equipment he had were 3 pieces AGI, +6 custom AGI, and 1 piece STR. I'm still on the edge on whether to keep or retire; if/when I do boost next season, it'd all go into speed.

Any advice on equipment placement?

you might as well third cap tackling on your first boost, leaves 12 SP, so 2 in speed and 2 in maybe Wall. Then maybe your next level of eq upgrades into speed for 78 total. Or put all 3 boosts in speed.

It seems like your team isn't very good to be honest.

This is actually the be all end all question.

I think if that DT was placed on a better and more fun team, you'd get more enjoyment out of your player. I'd take these other players offers for joining another team, and keep your player around for one more season and then see how you feel about him.

Well, I decided to stick it out for one more season, but he's probably not going to get many sacks in WL.
