. Pro League is tough....that's for sure. Who was it that said earlier that when teams face their first losing season, more than half gut and start over. Others just keep working at getting better.
It's a matter of not having time for both the Lesbos and Aftershocks..the difficulty in scouting and all that is about the same as AAA but it takes a couple hours to get things right

To be fair, it won't be any easier going slow build. Probably more difficult than trying to recruit and maybe dropping down to AAA because of a bad season. Getting from the bottom to the top is gonna be tougher than just taking your lumps for a season or two while you rebuild like the royals and nan did. And if (prob won't happen for most) teams do get back to pro region, it won't be any easier to gameplan.
Def understand about not having time. My life has been hectic this season and have mainly been posting on my phone while on the subway and what not. Wish i had more time to help out with the scouting and such lately

when the top 9 teams in USA Pro right now leave either for WL or not, USA Pro will be at the end of an era.
a lot of teams that have sucked here would make the playoffs anywhere else, and now those somewhere elses will be on the same level as USA Pro because every conference sends a team to the new highest league in GLB

Big big difference between throwing in the hat midseason and sticking it out the season even if you just use the same AI.

If we had made it here a season earlier we would have stayed, but faced with the huge amount of time it would take to restock an aged team that we already don't have the time to run the way we want, starting over was a no brainer. Take a few months off, build stock ai's, and coast for a while seems like the way to go. That said, if this economy doesn't turn soon, I won't have the time then, either.

Because by staying you actually have guys that won't throw off the standings, MVP races, etc etc so much. As I said, at least they did it after they have no playoff teams left. If they had done it two weeks earlier against WW it would be a bitch move by guaranteeing WW any points tiebreakers.

That makes sense.

It's a different situation..normally I'd agree with you but this team is going slow-build and we need to get everyone retired so those who need flex can create players in the next few days
