I see a lot of recruiting threads (I have one of them) and there does not seem to be much activity on the recruitment threads or PMs. Do people wait until later to find a team or is there really not a lot of peewee players?

well they can't be created til day 31 but yeah some people have trouble finding guys.

right but people can reserve spots on teams and say "i'm making an LB and QB" and then on day 31 they make it. I have a few people that have done that but all in all i see very little activity in terms of securing spots to peewee teams across all peewee threads.

I honestly think schools going back into session has affected the activity on GLB. I can only imagine how many users here are still in high school or college.

i'm in college and between this and ogame.org I sit looking at a browser for many more hours a day than I would want to =P But owning a team seems like it is very hard to get players that arent friends / yourself because people are just not that assertive or into looking for teams, they want the teams to find them it seems which is hard to do if you want day 31 peewee made people unless people just make them and sit on the market block.

There's way too many teams now so recruiting has become pretty difficult.

As a peewee owner, I usually start privately recruiting (posting on team forums, sticking within my network) for next season on Day 11 or so, then open it up to public recruiting on day 15-ish. If you find a guy that early you know he knows what he's doing when it comes to pee wee and he's a better agent.

I posted a post in the peewee recruit and the team looking for players and really seems to get no activity, you have people bumping all their posts with emoticons winking and stuff so yours always goes right to the bottom. I guess i'll just have to recruit premade day 31 players and hope for the best if no one is really looking for teams or are all taken by other teams.

You definitely have to work in advance. It's easiest to find a good core group of agents that will create multiple players.

But beware, I know a team in silver7 folded b/c what he thought was just such a good core group turned out to mainly be multi's of the same guy. When that guy (and his multi's) got banned, the majority of his team was unable to train, buy level 8 equipment, or set tactics. The owner ended up selling the team.

I have had a group of agents for the past 5 seasons. Makes it pretty easy to recruit

We normally only need 1 or 2 new agents a season. This season my regular guys are making less players so the new guys can make us some players.

Ahhhh elitism.

I got 3 agents who will make some players.. this year i made like 30 myself... I hope to find some good active agents.. i'm a very active owner and I ordered custom jerseys and stuff for the team because I like to spend money on people =P
