I figured after I made you guys realize how much you miss superawesomecool predictions threads, I should return in a hail of gunfire, glory and "hit or miss" jokes. I'm like the Oprah Winfrey of GLB because I give tons of people free cars.
.....Wait....wat?.....
Anyhow, this week we have some good games, some bad games, some interesting games, and some games I don't care about. Prepare to take a ride down the path of interesting conversation, bias picks, and perhaps even some clue's one of the biggest unsolved murders in US history.
Back to GLB..... Predictions, ect.... Oh and btw, if this thread gets 15+ posts AND at least 5 posts saying its better than the kampfire you get guaranteed predictions week 10. If not....well.... I guess we'll have to see.
Nashville (1) vs Portland (15)
Well, the Hounds are on top of the world right now. They are the West's only undefeated team, and they just beat one of the top teams in GLB. If I respected scrim results I'd talk about those as well, but I don't so the Hounds are gonna have to settle for being ranked #1.
Portland on the other hand is not good. No offense as someone needs to not be good, and I guess they're doing a good job being that team. Congrats on not gutting yet though. Don't get your hopes up of demoting though my friends, as while I'm confident you'll finish 15th, some other team will gut and you'll get to stick around in USAPro if you want.
Hounds win 52-13
Minnesota (2) vs Chicago (7)
The Marauders have a fantastic squad and are coming off their first loss of the season. Make no mistake about it however, their balanced offense and "OMG that's retarded, how'd they do that" defense is a force capable of defeating any team in GLB. Despite the loss to the Hounds they are looking to keep rolling right to a championship.
Chicago on the other hand is a team which is hard to figure out. Start off 0-3 which says they're bad. Then went 4-0 which says they're good. Then loss one cause they are actually bad. Then won 1 because they are actually good. Their D hasn't allowed 28+ since week 2, but their offense has been all over the map.
My completely unbias prediction is Hedgehogs 255-0, but I admit it'll probably be a little closer than that.
Lincoln (3) vs Carson City (13)
Ya, I ranked the Navs 3rd. Why? Well because I think they deserve it. The Wolfpack with their owner on hiatus and half their roster unboosted isn't as good imo, and neither is a Kampers team who's only real win is over the Nighthawks. Dispite their 2 losses, they are completely destroying the 2nd rate teams in the west, which IMO is a much biggest sign of greatness than a mere game or 2 that didn't go their way.
I'd talk about the Cubes, but you tied with DDL which is freakin' imbarrising. How do you sleep at night imo? Nogutstillseasonsendpls. kthxbye.
55-10 Navs
Washington (4) vs Spokane (8)
Ya I know Wolfpack. You have 1 loss and its to the team ranked #1, so wtf with #4? Well, for one you only beat my horrible team by 14 points (and may have lost if my horrible self wasn't filling in as OC). Also, your team confuses. So for now painmaker is off in neverland, hazy is the OC/Owner, Islander removed himself as DC and blankspace took his place. Is that right? Too much change. You'd be #1 if Pain was here to guide you and boost your stars, deal with it.
Spokane on the other hand is reeling. 5-4 isn't bad in your first year up here, but a 3 game losing streak isn't good. Played the Hounds and Kampers both very close which is promising, though the loss to the Hedgehogs is less so. Can they get it together, or will the sizzle and fight the Demo/Thunder for the 8th seed?
I'm gonna get yelled at for this, but I need to pick an upset and the Hedgehogs one doesn't count cause 255-0 isn't a real prediction. Plus I feel that Spokane will be greatly changing their AI and gameplanning, which could spell trouble for an uninspired Wolfpack team who likes to play teams close. Not to mention of the Pack loses, I get to hold onto the dream of Hazy paying me $1,100.
28-17 Spokane.
Ketchikan (5) vs Timpanogos (9) (the battle of teams who have retardedly hard to spell city names)
Ya Kamper fans, I know its not your fault that you have the easiest first 12 games of any western team, but it's not my fault either. Dravz is cool, Merc is funny, and though he's past his prime Track has his moments, but you guys have only been tested one and you didn't pass against MM. Also worth noting, back when I was the Kampers OC, I used more than 3 formations (perhaps you should try it out).
Thunder, you guys are crazy. Beating the Demo is good. Losing to DCD isn't good. I love the life your showing though, and as one of the last teams to get promoted I am definitely impressed. Too little too late though IMO, with you guys looking at an 8-8 record at best, which won't get you into the post-season. Better luck next year though.
32-9 Kampers (still untested imo)
Northwest Nighthawks (6) vs New Jersey (12)
The Nighthawks are the best of the Pro-rookie teams and they won't stop rolling here. They look like the best of the tier 2 teams right now, though with games against the Navs and Marauders still on the board, there's still plenty of time to hit tier 1. New Jersey just isn't in their league despite 2 solid back-to-back wins.
27-13 NWNH
Demolition (10) vs WSI (highest number possible)
I'm not sure if the Demo still have the ownership/gameplanning in place to make the playoffs, but they have enough to beat fuckass WSI who should have never been in USAPro, but bort keeps them here 2 seasons.... lolbort imo....
Lesbians (11) vs Dread City (14)
Lesbians, c'mon guys you were supposed to be good, then you go and lose to the Cubes? Still hope for you on that 8th seed this season, but shape up imo. If you lose today I'm dropping you to 16th just out of pure disappointment.
Dread City, what happened to the plan? We were supposed to meet in the championship game as a testiment to both the Hedgehogs and DCD's ironclad will to battle adversity. Then I was gonna write a book on it and sell a script to a movie studio making all of us rich.... I guess I can't be mad since plans change, but c'mon guys you only lost to the Hounds by 4 remember?
42-28 Lesbians
And that's all I've got folks. Tbqh I don't know any secrets about unsolved murders obviously, it was all a lazily crafted ploy to get you to read my stuff. If you don't like your ranking here, do some real stuff on the dotball field and improve it. If you like your ranking, let me know so that I can rank you lower next time (since everyone wants to see hungry dotball teams with a chip on their dot shoulders).
GL, ect. Dotball=fun imo.
