Forum > North American Pro League > USA Conference > Kamper Kountdowns and Rundowns: Week - Kry-Factor
Link

I was so devastated by the X-Factor nerf that I thought we needed a special edition of Kamper Kountdowns and Rundowns, so I decided to pour my emotions out into an analysis of how the loss of the X-Factor will impact some of GLB's Best...
...Pro League teams.

rank --- (last week) --- team --- league

#1 (UR) Nashville Hounds (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: No, Peverill is not an X-man. The real loss for the Hounds is their trifecta of superstar HBs. Luckily they have three guys who can share the nerfload.
Rundown: This team is the only undefeated team remaining in USAPL (after the Blaze lost a scrim to C4), and they'll be unhappy at the top as always.

#2 (UR) Minnesota Marauders (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: Well it's sure as hell not Krist. They should be most worried about MJD, and Steve Matusic. Matusic has never been a superstar, but it takes some sort of X-Factor for a bad build like his to end up in USAPL.
Rundown: Recent losses to the Hounds and Bonn Dynamo already had this team freefalling

#3 (UR) Washington Wolfpack (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: Are you kidding me? This team just got better.
Rundown: New owner thehazyone has not lost a USAPL game as owner for years now.

#4 (UR) Lincoln Navigators (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: None - Riverboat Gambler is too good.
Rundown: Well, they've lost to 2 and 3, so they have to be #4.

#5 (UR) Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: Pierce Dravz will be ok; he's survived every nerf in history. This team's biggest loss will be leading scorer and offensive MVP candidate - Money In The Bank
Rundown: This team has always gotten by on X-Factor alone, but even without it they are still better than anyone in the East. They haven't beaten anyone yet, but they have looked great in both of their losses.

#6 (UR) New Jersey Blaze (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: There's nobody famous on their team
Rundown: We'll find out if they're still the real deal when they play the World League's Nairobi.

#7 (UR) Indianapolis Gurupies (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: We know neither any original Gurupies nor their Margaritaville players had the X-Factor.
Rundown: This team has never had the X-Factor. Finally on a level playing field, perhaps their playoff dreams can finally become reality.

#8 (UR) Chocolate City Cha Chings (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: This team lost everything they had
Rundown: This team is in freefall. Once a favorite to win the East, now they'll likely retool their roster en route to a third AAA1 League Trophy.

#9 (UR) Alpine Golfers (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: They did fine without Csonka, so they're experienced with this kind of thing.
Rundown: Who cares if they lost to the Slashers, I mean, what has a team like ***O*** done this season? We're not in Season 9 anymore, fellas!

#10 (UR) Northwest Mighthawks (USAPL)

Kry-Factor: They'll be alright, they're already hard at worrying fixing some other bug.
Rundown: As many have noticed, they lost to the Hounds despite gaining twice the yardage. In Alaska we call that sandbagging.

Bubble 5:
***Official*** Footballguys (USAPL) - this team is so so so SO lucky that they are not in the World League.
Chicago Hedgehogs (USAPL) - You don't know if I'm joking or not, do you?
Spokane Privateers (USAPL) - I wanted to add another West team.
Washington Slashers (USAPL) - This team is good when they want to be.
Timpanogos Thunder (USAPL) - Riding high on a 2 game win-streak

Others Receiving Votes:
Washington Bullets (USAPL), San Diego Demolition (USAPL), Laredo Lesbians (USAPL), New Jersey Battallion (USAPL), Carson City Cubes (USAPL), Portland Aftershocks (USAPL), Dread City Diabolicals (USAPL)

Sorry if your team didn't get expanded upon, but I only have so much of my girlfriend's weed I can smoke without her noticing.

FWIW, we've been trying to find a replacement for Peverill for many seasons because he never had the X-factor. Now, hopefully everyone will suck just as much as he does. Or, maybe he never really sucked to begin with. Everyone else just had "it"

In fairness, Nairobi's in rebuilding mode (started after week 4 I think) so proceed w/ caution when reviewing results (I say that as an agent of 3 Blaze players and a GM of Nairobi)

Just took him coming to a team with knowledgeable agents to get his EQ setup right. Can't falt him for his previous poor EQ setup with teams like RRY. .

Nighthawks are over-rated.
