is it just me or does it seem like TE's get worse and worse every season?4-5 seasons ago it was nothing to see a TE leading there league in yards or TD's now it is ealy hard to find a tight end who puts up numbers like a #1 or 2 WR.With that said who in your opinion is the best Reciving TE you have scene over the past few seasons and do you think is the best overall build plan for a dangerous reciving TE?

Knocked loose has destroyed TEs as weapons in the passing game.

I thought these new Vet Ability updates would help out a little but it still seems there is rarely a TE that is in the top 10-15 of his league in recivng i looked thru 6 random leagues and in only 2 was there a TE in the top 10 in reciving and one was a CPU TE and neither had over 600 yards.i also found 5 or 6 more in the top 15 but the majority of them only had 400-500 yards

VA updates have made a world of difference.

His stats are getting better every season...and so far this season, 0 drops, where he has lead the team in drops every season for a while.

So no, if you build them right...in the right system...and use the new VA's appropriately..you'll be fine.

Best build plan...early on, speed/agility..find a first step piece...cap catching and jumping. After level 25...get strength and carry up and load up on one of the Anti-Knock Loose VA's. Hit a few Receiving TE VA's...keep pumping up speed/agility..you are set.

he has been doing well but he is also not ranked very highly in league leaders for reciving he comes in at 16 which is what i am talkign about a few seasons ago it was not uncommon to have a TE in the top 5 or 10 or even leadign the league now it seems like you dont see TE ranked that high at all

As far as build i agree a good build will overcome the KL's but i disagree about your build plan i think Catchign should be the first thign you cap followed by vision on before spped as it gaisn much more in the auto level gains then put the work into speed/agility or else you loose out on all those extra SP from level gains

i am slowbuildign my TE and will be taking cathing to 68 and vision to fist or second cap before working on anything else i also shop around For Adv EQ every few days

if your OC doesn't know how to , or just chooses not to, or is just working a different aspect of the offense, use your TE according to his build, well.. it just kinda sucks. doesn't mean TE's suck though.

I think the knocked loose issue is still hurting TEs big time. If you have a TE playing in a league where he is frequently out leveled by the LBs, the knocked loose balls are still out of control regardless of build.

it also helps when your team has scored over 200 5x this season and also had a 184-0 game

catching is 62, carrying is 50, confidence is 49. Still dropping about 3 per game.

For your level, all of these should be higher.

Most owners and OCs don't want the star of their team to be a TE.

Apparently my TE is 4th in CPL (1st in East) in receiving yards. Who knew?

Still has drop issues though.
