Have both pieces available to purchase. Which is the better SA for a high Agility DE? Well 73 Agi/50 Strength at level 13.

I would go first step, imo

since you seem to be building a run stuffer... shed block is better... since you only need first step to get to the qb in time

I would definitely go with shed blocks in that case. Not that I don't think first step can be beneficial, but you have to wonder whether two pieces of AEQ are worth it for maybe 1 sack a game.

If 2 pieces of aEQ was as big of an impact as 1 sack / game, I'd argue that it was well worth it. If every player on the D had aEQ that made that impact, it would translate to ~15 negative plays for the offense / game out of ~75 total plays or 20% of their plays....and that only from aEQ.

First Step is king in my opinion for speed ends, with Tunnel Vision next important and Shed Block #3. But for a run-stuffer I'd have to agree that the order is probably Shed Block, First Step, Change Direction (for the pass rush SA's of course).

Well the obvious counterpoint is, what are shed blocks, break blocks, or any other pass rush type AEQ worth? Because I do believe FS in the 8-10 range typically gives my guy one play a game that would not happen otherwise. But if he were say, 20% better on every play, what kind of difference does that make? Maybe that causes 2-3 more sacks a game. Hard to say.

Sorry I was unclear. I wasn't arguing that FS was better. Just pointing out that he argument given wasn't entirely logical (not that everything I say is entirely logical):

Right, I wish that I could tell you how good 15 in shed blocks and 15% break blocks was in comparision
