okai, Say i wanted to run a zone based defense. What vision is expected of my LB's? I assume atleast 60's range but has anyone ever put a number on it?

My LB has 71 vision, when he makes a retarded error I get told its because he dosent have enough vision.

Moral of the story- You can never have enough

LOL.. yeah my guys are in a 13 CAP league all have 60+ Vision and i am always told they don't have enough. Go figure!

70 with football genius is a good start....

I don't think there is any amount of vision that will work. I've seen 69 with an 18% bonus from mentor stand around for 15 ticks before beginning to move towards the zone he was assigned to cover.

I would love to play more zone but its for these sort of reasons that I'm very reluctant to try, sadly man to man remains a much safer option.

I dont think ti is a lack of vision problem but a Sim Problem

I agree that up to about 70-74 you seem improvement (ie third cap w/ genius)...after that I'm not sure..

For zone playing, think of vision just like a coverage OLB thinks of speed. To both types, agility is the second most important attribute.

To address the OP, a zone defense at low levels is not a good idea, IMO.
