I have one DE with 6 in Blitz (two AEQs) and I've been testing him on and off for the last 2 seasons, taking into consideration various OT played against and defensive schemes, etc.

Conclusion: almost no effects whatsoever. If GLB forums are not so adamant about Blitz works on DLs I am starting to think if Blitz works on DEs at all. Blitz at 6 is no small number.

I have 9 Blitz on my higher level DT and I'm not sure how much return I'm getting out of it honestly. It's hard to gauge.

Great. I just rolled a 'blitz' piece for the first time on my pass rush DT, sold my first step piece, and upgraded blitz. Then I came here to see what the latest news is on blitz. Not cool!

I don't think you can come to any all encompassing solution by testing it only at 6.

We need some more opinions here.

This further illustrates why Blitz is useless if you can't get any tangible results at 6. Motiak doesn't seen to get shit at 9 either. If Blitz only brings tangible benefits at 9-10, then might as well spend the AEQ on other SAs.

It's harder for me to tell because I just got into a pro league. I was dominating in AAA with 8 Blitz last seaosn.

I have 8 on my LVL50 DT, and well so far it hasn't helped much. To be fair, he is generally giving up quite a few levels (usually at least 5...sometimes more than a dozen) and we play a fair amount of 3-4.

Still in the rare even matchup, he hasn't looked all that good either.

i think it does work (would be quite sad if not as bort said it does), but the bonus is simply very small. too small to be noticed at all? maybe...

and its actually not that big a surprise that its not an immense bonus. its always active when pass-rushing and it affects 2 stats. how much of a bonus are people expecting with this in mind?

Well rather than looking at numbers, the best way to tell is just watch the dot...does it move faster? Shed more blocks? That's the way to tell whether it works or not.

I've watched replays, and it does work, perhaps even help on pass plays that take a while to develop. So it probably would have been great if this was S6 and QBs were running backwards and then heaving the ball 40 yards downfield.

If someone didn't have AEQ and was already generating pressure, I'd think Blitz will help them.

I'm not giving up on it, I'll have it at 10 a couple seasons from now and will have my build more rounded out with some decent investment in SB by then.

Another thing to keep in mind, is that it doesn't fire on every play, you have to be in the correct scheme.
