Not going to get it with high str without heavyweight VA.

Check out my high lvl DE capped STR up first didnt get sacks until speed and agil were trained up, but in the long run capped str first doesn't hurt you but short term going to seem like a waste.

I would guess you would want your speed higher than 11 for sacks. are you willing to abandon your long term plan for this year?

no not really.. i thought there might be another way then building up speed... so i guess ill focus on forcing fumbles! thank you

Thing about that is....Even DT's NEED speed...It's not just how fast you can run..It's about how fast you can move...Including how fast you can move in breaking a block...Including helping in the run game...You gotta have the right attributes, to tackle the ball carrier to force a fumble first.

I'm not saying he wouldn't need speed, just if he is going the slow build route, he should finish str first for best long term build, wherever he thinks he should end it, probably 68 for a DT, higher for NT. If he wants results now, then he needs speed. Usually it is second or third for DTs as I understand it . Since his str is in between caps, he is probably done training str and adding SPs as he gets them. I would be training spd/agi now, but only agi/tck are above the minimums.

The main point would be, did you not play last season to build a monster L13 player or to train to have higher attributes through your career relative to other same level players? If it is option 1, then he is probably going to give up some of his gains long term by not finishing what he started. He probably would have boosted then too.
