It wont work tried it last year with my offense. Unless there has been changes this last off season.

But QB position is filled before the 5WR's are for the play call. The reason you can use TE2 is the TE2/OLINE is filled first before QB so you have that flexibility.

can you not use RB2 slot for passing QB because the RB slot is filled after the QB slot? we tried it but it doesn't work, so that would explain it.

Correct. I suppose you could stick your passing QB at one of the OT slots, the opposite direction you're going to run, but doing that with a depth chart position with 3 players is risky at best (very difficult to gauge the energy settings required) and flat out stupid at worst.

No idea why anyone would use the OT spot. Use something you can choose at least.
