Not very important. Get it to 30-35 and you'll be fine tackling elusive HBs and WRs.

Strength is important for holding the WR from gaining additional yards (even via jumping/SAs) during (and after) the tackle.
It ensures you make the tackle in the first place.
I also personally believe it helps you deflect to some degree.

Its decent to help shed blocks and shut down the outside running game, so good for a CB2 slot.
helps for knocking the ball loose too ... it affects the pass defense bar for a reason

It helps you break up outside running games and you knock loose some balls now and than. If you like that push it, but 50 should be enough (Jackhammer VA)

I would go as far as saying that you should get 50 strength after speed, agility, vision, jumping, catching. Jackhammer is beastly, especially on a Corner.
