My guess...
Becuase you are RDE and probably going against guys with at least 10 in Protect. Your agility is not over 100 (some like 120) which is very important in that position with a well built LOT.

Simply put? He is Neither fast enough, or agile enough. Too much of a balance isn't a good thing. You have to be very agile and a little fast, very fast And a little agile... or very strong, pretty agile, and slightly fast.

things you (your team) could do to improve his stats...

get your team to put you at lde. at rde you have to have an extrem built to be successful. sad, but true.

your team needs a 4th de. and a 4th dt. a 4th ot. you get the idea...

switch some equipment from speed to agility.

unless you find a way to break more blocks, heavyweight is a waste. better get something else. because if you can't break blocks, you can't knock anyone down. right now, against a wellbuilt lt, you won´t be breaking that many blocks. try quick instead.

find another team? he shouldn't suck so bad imo, but the team around you means a lot. last season you lost all so...

all is not lost. for a player created at the time you started him, he is built pretty well and i think for a pass rushing-lde he is alright.

I would put more equipment into speed, you are getting hurries but just coming up alittle bit short. Plus with 13 in FS that helps you with your agility boost so you mine as well get a higher top end speed...

your build doesn't make a lot of sense. I agree with joeyjojok because you're wasting those points in FS and CD by having higher agility than speed. get speed to 110 and I bet production will increase.

Both would work, either 110 speed, or 110 AGI..I'd rather AGI, since it's more useful in breaking blocks...Another thing is I personally think Bort sets some builds up to fail....In your DE's case, he's to little, at 248.

My first DE ended up like this

70 strength
85 speed,
110 AGI

10 FS,
10 shed block
10 tunnel vision...

But he couldn't get a tackle to save his life, or a sack, (I firmly believe) because he was only 245, to little to battle the big ass OT's.

Also just a little FYI..You don't need 100 + speed, to need 10 FS, it helps get you up to that 85-90 speed.

I've seen multiple DE's that get good sacks numbers with speed/agility very similar. One DE was in the MVP race.

High enough agility to break blocks and enough speed to get away from the OT after the block was broken.

So have I..Which is why I am lead to believe that he makes some builds to fail(Like a small 245 pound DE).

Including my new DE.

I had a build that was almost identical to yours (just flip FS & CD). He wasn't bad, but didn't really show up on the scoresheet. I moved all EQ into agility and immediately saw returns. Listen to these guys, pick AGI or SPD and go all in on one of them with your EQ.

From my experience (1 great DE and 1 lousy DE, both with similar builds), this or gravenimages (+vision + jts) is the corrrect answer...that or the "it" factor.
