IMO, all of the other SA's for linebcaker are shi*. But, I haven't heard anything on Shed Block. Anyone try it?

Enlighten me then oh wise one
I've tried, and had all of the other ones pretty high up there (except maybe Big Sack), and IMO, nothing was worth the investment. Though, I see you are on a team with Denver LastDinosaur, so maybe you know something I don't. Care to share your knowledge??
BTW, back to the original question. What about Shed Block???

Shed Block is great if you're a blitzing EDIT: or run-stopping LB. Not worth much as a coverage LB, though.
A lot of the LB SAs are underrated. Some of them are crap (as far as I can tell, Glare and Trash Talk don't do squat in any decent league because QBs are over the confidence cap for the abilities), but Snarl, Aura of Intimidation, Monster Hit, Defense General, Shed Block, Swat Ball, and Big Sack are all worthy investments in builds that are built to support them.
Heh. I'm kinda amused that people think my opinion might be valid because I'm on a team with Denver. It's not like my LB on that team hasn't earned his starter spot...
That's what I get for playing with one of the best LBs in the game, I guess.

A lot of them are really hard to measure, so I guess that plays a part in my thought process. I'm one of those seeing is believing kind of guys.
The one that I have tried that seemed to work the best for me was Defense General. At least the defense around me was excellent, if that can be used as a measuring stick.
And I've never really tried a pass rushing LB before...

Shed Block is an absolutely amazing SA. As a run stuffing MLB on a great Pro team, it's helped me tremendously. Even when I first boosted it from 0 to 3, I saw some noticeable effects. And now at 7, I can see it working quite a bit. You need to couple it with high Agility to be very effective. You'll fight off blocks in both the running game and the passing game much much quicker.

Zurai knows more about linebackers (and this game) than I do.
That being said, Denver does love Shed Block.
He also has more than 50 points of linebacker special abilities, so I'd argue they are far from useless.

You should see some of the shit he does. He looks like he has Strong base. But he doesn't I guess he's just really strong with about 8 sheds. I dunno.

I had Shed Block at 5 earlier in my build, but didn't notice shit. Maybe it was because my Agility wasn't high enough, but I always felt that it rarely fired against run blocks. Maybe Bort tweaked it since then (I had it during season 7 I think...)

When you have Agility in the 90s, Strength in the 70s, and Shed Block 5+ you will notice a difference. Shedding blocks comes Strength and Agility, and if you don't have those attributes high enough the multiplier isn't going to do much of anything. You Speed guys aren't going to get much of a difference from it, so it's pretty useless for guys who think that if they put Speed in the 100s and Agility in the 50s that they'll just run right into someone and Shed Block will magically push them off the build. It's not going to do that, it's going to help you fight off faster than what you would, and if you already have good Shed Block skills than it's only going to make you tear up people. With my next boost I think I'm going to work it to 8. Once it's there, maybe I can show some replays for you guys where I feel like it fires.

This isn't true. You don't need that much agility OR that much strength (at least, if you have enough in Shed Block).

Here are a couple examples of my RO from our last scrimmage. This is with 8 in SB, approx 73 Agil, 52 Str.
