Alright, ive never done these before but im bored and have some free time. I cannot claim accuracy to some things and im guessing on others but hey.........gives ya something to read and argue about.

1. Singapore Flames

The goons of the conference, lead by the infamous CelticRaider and his tourettes syndrome, these guys are the elders of the conference as well. For the most part a S1 team, their time is now. Led by the hard running Tank Gore with the 6th best running attack in the league last season, the Flames will again hit the ground and ask their D to win games for them. They didnt make too many moves in the offseason, so their Chem is looking good for the season. Anything less than a CC will be a fail.

2. Bangkok Lightning

Another talented team, these guys are due as well. Alot of talented GMs should lead them to victory but can their dots follow thru? They didnt really lead many categories last season on either side of the ball, they had the 5th best offense but with 20th and 21st in rushing and passing. Defense was 18th last season overall and will need to step up this season. But they are still at the top of the conference with the influx of new teams and should be a favorite to make a deep playoff run.

3. Komodo Dragon

A team i dont know much about but from their history you can see they are very good at dotball. 3 Straight 16-0 seasons prior to their 11-5 inaugural SEAPL season in which they did pretty well by making the playoffs but losing to the C. Champs. They return an almost intact team from last season, so they dont have much Chem problems. They are a passing team and pretty good at it, ranking 8th in the league. Sean Gunther threw for over 5000 yards and 45 TDs. He has a new toy to play with in WR Fred Rouse but can he produce at the Pro level? A definite playoff team, they should so well this season.

4. Batdambang Killer Koalas

BKK is a solid team that hopes it can make it a little further in the playoffs this season after being dumped by 3KW last season. They have one of the best running attacks in the league, led by Sugar Jackson. This season they hope to air it out a little more and keep teams from stacking too much. Didnt add too much in the offseason and look to have 100 Chem going into the season. The Defense had a change in scheme this offseason and looks to improve on last seasons 15th overall ranking. Another team that expects to make a deep playoff run and should have a good season.

5. Sumatra Sting

It had to hurt a little bit being knocked from the playoffs in the final week of the season, especially after a pretty good season. The star of this team is GLB superstar, Need Ur Love, who will most likely have another monster season at DT. Noone can stop this guy and hes the main reason they have such a beastly run D. They are generally a bit lower leveled than some of the "top" teams but we all know that doesnt always mean much. If they can improve on the little things, these guys should be able to improve upon their S10 record. Definite playoff team.

6. Buffalo Rampage

Buffalo has been a perenial disappointment since they got to SEAPL, they actually took a step back last season with one less win. They tore it up in AAA but have yet to prove their worth here...........Enter thehazyone. The heralded GLBer is said by some to be the savior of this franchise, while others say hes just another agent/GM. Hes got his work cut out for him but Buffalo SHOULD be able to do better this season with his help and the fact the league got watered down a bit. They should be a playoff team, if they arent, they might as well gut.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heres where im really not sure on some teams. Alot of new faces, some i know and some i have no clue. Most are these teams are fighting for the 7th and 8th playoff spot though. A couple have no chance but go ahead prove me wrong.

7. West Indies Warriors

Coming off a 6 win S10, these guys arent that bad. They have a pretty good ground game with Chris Tauteroff but thats about it. The passing game was bad last season and the D wasnt much better. They have a short roster as of this writing but i still think they are the 7th best team in the conference. Gonna need to be on top of their game though because alot of new teams are looking to make a name for themselves.

8. Tokyo Hellfighters

Alright, so these guys flat out sucked last season, only 2 wins and they were CPU teams. 2nd season in Pro and due to the new teams, they have a shot at turning it around this season. Not gonna be easy and i wouldnt doubt this is way too high to put them but if they do suck, at least they can say they were the preseason 8th ranked team, lol. I think ill regret putting them this high though.

9. Lea Lea Furniture

No idea who they are but they are doing something right. League champs in A, AA and AAA. Got a nice sized roster, full Chem and are fairly level correct for the league. They know how to win and will push some teams for a playoff spot. Could be the best new team in the conference.

10. Canberra Cowboys

A team that has won a few golds in A and AA in S8 and S9. Good sized roster and fairly level appropriate. They look like a team that loves to pass and is good at it but this isnt AAA and they will be facing their toughest season yet as a team. Definitely a possible team that could make some noise but they need to step up.

11. Padang Orangutans

S8 AA champs and a good looking team. A very defensive minded team from the looks of their #1 ranked AAA D last season. They wont be playing as many cake teams up here, so they will get tested alot more this season. If they can get their run game going though and the D steps up big, they could be another surprising team.

12. Chiang Mai Gangsters

Chiang Mai is a returning S10 SEAPL team but they were horribad. They only managed to beat Tokyo(who for some reason i have ranked 8th) and the CPU teams. While im not expecting them to do much at all, you never know. For know, they sit at 12.

13. Bangalore Monsoon

Hmmm, looks like a decent squad. Underleveled and will most likely take their lumps this season but they are still young and should be a contender in another season or 2. Had the 3rd best passing attack in their AAA league last season and 2nd best passing D.

14. Arrowhead Fanatics

I could copy and paste the Monsoon write up for these guys. Exact same it looks like and good reason is that MaddenCoach runs the team and runs a few others as well, including the Monsoon. Most likely the same team for all intensive purposes.

15. D League Ligers

These guys cant be as bad as the 15th rank but they are really underleveled for the league. They had some success in AA and AAA but they arent ready for SEAPL yet, even if they are slowbuilt.

16. Bangkok Tweetys

I didn't come in here to be a dick... but if the Flames are the best team in the conference you guys are in trouble. Buffalo has a good chance at a home playoff game. lol

BKK actually impressed me last season. I got them and the flames in the Garuda Championship... winner gets the honor of giving ESL they're 4th super wok championship

Oh the flames are the best team IMO. but, i don't know. I don't feel their name carries the same weight as ESLs name does, or LSPs does. i mean if we do a league challenge, and someone says well who are their top teams from each conference. well they got ESL and The Flames. I have no doubt in my mind the Flames are ready to step up and take the challenge. they have great agents over there. I just think it's too soon for them. they are battle tested though...

I think the Cowboys are ranked too low as well. Despite losing 2 out of 3 scrimmages so far, they've had some impressive games.

Yea some of the new teams look good but as always, no idea if any of them will produce.

Cowboys could be one of those teams for sure but i think Lea Lea will be the best new team. And both of them should probably be ranked ahead of Tokyo.

naw. 10 is about right for us I think. Hell we are about as good as Arrowhead and they are 14 so yeah.

Good to see something on garuda though.

We'll see i guess. True ESL is a top GLB team and should be in WL, Pa Dong is tough as well. After that though, you have basically the same picture as Garuda, bunch of teams that COULD do well but thats yet to be seen.

exactly. this world league really kills the pro leagues IMO. how can there be any pride in your league if the truly elite teams are drafted away. how can there be any sense of league pride!?

Joined the wrong conference though, Naga is headed downhill. Its gonna be just like the AFC/NFC battles. Naga is the NFC and Garuda is the AFC, its time the tide turns and its gonna happen this season.
