I heard that if your speed is in the 90's and agility in the 75/80s that is the best way to go. Anybody else hear of this or any other builds for a great Agility DE?

Yeah that seems best for minors. once you get past the minors you will soon realize that's not fast enough, nor is it close to enough agility. Then agility becomes more important than speed for rushing the Q.B.
You learn that once you start going up in levels. SO my theory is , why not just build for agility from the get-go. then you will be even better in the end.

we have 2 speed rushing DE's on 1 of my teams and they seem to do better than the agility based DE's....
1 guy has RDE 101 speed and 87 agility and ended up with 30 sacks
the other one LDE has 102 speed and 85 agility and he ended up with 45 sacks
of course these are somewhat inflated due to a CPU game included BUT none the less they did better than the agility guys

My DE is currently LVL 25 with 85 speed and 90 agility. Last season he had 97 speed and 71 agility and only managed about 16 sacks, thus I changed him around this season. Anyways he has custom eq in speed atm, should I switch that to agility and get 79 speed and 96 agility? At lvl 27 that would give me 80 speed and 100 agility. What do you guys think?

that's going to be good for you. I think Bort tweaked str to matter even more this season though. After watching a few scrims str seems to be even more buffed up for o-line atm.

I don't consider an end an agility end till they have over 100 agility.
My agility end out performed both your speed ends put together so.....
you should probably get a bigger variable before you go spouting stuff. I would like to know what league they were in. and how much speed/agility the agility end had you are comparing it to.
I can tell you from experience. Speed ends dominate lower leveled leagues.
If you start agility early and go for an agility end, you will always be ahead. The speed ends will realize too late they don't have enough agility and will be spending their whole careers trying to fix it.
The best speed end in the game got less than 10 sacks last season in the pro's. The best agility ends are still putting up 50-60 sacks in the pros.

Thanks but which one is going to be good for me? The 80 speed/ 100 agility or 86 speed/94 agility?

relax ass, im not spouting stuff, im just giving my opinion here as you are....
The agility end i was referring too has 109 currently the other one has 94 and we all played in AAA last season...
Oh and by the way if our guys would have played as many candy ass teams that yours did im sure we would have put up much bigger numbers as well....

I agree about the strength thing, although it's also possible that players have upped their agility and are simply performing better.

What would be considered lower leveled leagues? Anything below AA? Because right now, my AGI based DE is over 100 AGI, but if 34 cap is considered lower leveled, I might just switch out eq to speed, and then switch back for higher levels.
AGI is at 81 base, SPD is at 77.

Best Mix 88 speed / 115 agility with 70 natural strength and Tackle, can be done by Lvl 56. Oh yeah Vision and Conf at 50 too. Blocking helps strength DEs more than Agility ones so nothing with blocking.

Ideally? Your Agility DE (by level 40) will have around 110 Agility and 85 Speed. Which makes it possible to reach 100/100 by 48 REALLY easily. I'm sure it's possible to reach 100/100 by 40 if you really dedicate to it.
