Are most TE built for blocking or receiving. Which has a higher demand?

most are receiving. so you will never have trouble finding a team if u make a blocking TE. owners seem happy when they find u.

most are balanced because they don't understand the te1/te2 principal... blocking TE's are in the most demand atm but if you build a quality receiver you'll get plenty of attention as well.

In my opinion, it is tough to make an effective "balanced" TE.... they are so many attributes you have to put points into and there just isn't enough to go around. I tried with this guy below and he never catches any passes.... never really thrown to for him to catch it anyway.

I agree with Misled, although there still seems to be plenty of people that "dont get it".

the TE1 and TE2 slots make having 2 specialized TE's much better than balanced IMO, although a balanced TE could have a place on certain teams and certain plans. just harder to build than a blocking or receiving TE and not as productive overall for a team IMO.

there is absolutely NO reason to have a blocking TE be in the game and be designated as passing target, same as there is no reason to have the receiving TE be in the game on a play where blocking is called for.
none.

ok.. maybe a few, but they are terrible reasons
