Just so everyone knows, I am planning to sell back the Chicago Bullets as soon as the season is over. I wanted to let everyone know so that no one is surprised by the move.

I don't know exactly what the etiquette should be on something like this, because on one hand I feel like letting all the guys off the team is "gutting" a team, but on the other hand I refuse to leave my players on the team at the hands of whoever might come in and buy the team, so I refuse to do it to the guys who played for my team this year.

Most of the contracts of the players on the team were set to expire on Day 1 of season 3 anyway, so all I did by resigning them to contracts that expire on Day 40 was to give them a few extra days to find another team.

I wanted to thank you all for the great competition and conversation! I loved playing in this league and I did not make this decision lightly, but there were a lot of reasons for it and I no longer feel that I want to own a team, so stepping down after the first year seems the best thing to do for everyone involved.

Wish you the best man. I can understand the dilemna of gutting a team or leaving them hanging. For what it is worth, I think you made the right decision.

I'll be honest - I hadn't even looked at your team, players needed, etc. I just know if the Hustlers were to be sold somehow, I'd want to stay here as a player. The division forum is really active, there's some serious class acts, etc.

Eventually, I might take a look and see if anyone might be interested. Right now, I wanted to toss the offer out. There's a lot of places we might normally not have a lot of room, but if people want options to try and stick around, we'll see what we can do.

Right now, given the option of signing a bunch of your guys and having you stick around to whup our butts, but with class, for another season, I'd take the latter. Its hard get good opponents sometimes.

On which note, I very much look forward to still seeing you as a player and on the forums next season as a player. Michigan is a great team.

I appreciate the PMs but my 7 guys on the team are going to go to my own two teams.

The only direction we are moving is up baby! There is no moving down.. I hope you guys prepare for a much tougher contest with us next season, we have no plans to continue to be the league whipping boy..

See even the bullets were so afraid of playing us next season they decided to disband rather then have to face us.. the rest of you guys might want to follow their example

The Hustlers will be looking forward to the big match.
