was hospitalized after a brutal assault. Authorities aren't sure of the motives but at 11:30 PM EST on August the 8th, Minnesota Marauders star Scat RB Da Lep Ra Con was hit from behind with a baseball bat. He was struck in the back of the head then the assailant struck him repeatedly in the leg. Ra Con was hospitalized with a minor concussion and some bruises to his leg. Authorities suspect it was either a 80 year old woman or a 10 year old girl who attacked him because of the extent of the injuries.

An intoxicated Mo Jones-Drew was apprehended at 2:30 AM EST on August the 9th, Mr. Jones-Drew was running through downtown naked with the baseball bat screaming, "That son of a bitch is keeping me from getting my MVP." Mr. Jones-Drew initially resisted arrest by urinating on officers and their patrol car but he was then easily subdued in a citizen's arrest by an obese 87 year old woman in a rascal scooter. She drove up to him, hit him with her umbrella and he hit the ground while fumbling the baseball bat. Will this incident effect Mr. Jones-Drew's eligibility in the upcoming season of USA Pro Football? And will he be ready to play in tomorrow's Pre-Season game?
