***Disclaimer*** If you disagree with my rankings, I don't give a shit. If you think you can do better, go make your own.

1.Washing Wolfpack: 15-1 last season and a very nasty team in every league that they've been in. Hazy+Island=win imo. If anyone disagrees with this, they simply don't know dotball. Supposedly they're bringing over GLB's best blocking TE in an effort to further scare teams. But the joke's on them, because any team who knows dotball was already at maximum scaredness...

2. Minnesota Marauders: Last season they were 1 score away from winning their way into the world league. Great team who has made the playoffs the last 7 seasons in USA Pro. Not to mention their owner galk is a mod and he PMed me "top 2 or ban" this morning....

3. Lincoln Navigators: Not only in Lincoln a very nasty team, but they out-recruited me on a 140 speed receiver. Last season was highlighted by a win of MEM and a 1 point loss to the wolfpack. Can Riverboat Gambler bring them back to the promiseland?

4. Nashville Hounds: Keep in mind, I'm not putting them here because I'm scared of wsdp yelling at me. To be honest, he has a bit of a mancrush on me (nohomo i think) so even if I put them at 16 I think I'd be ok... The fact is that due to gutting as well as promotion, the incumbant ranks of great western teams has been decimated, and there's no one else I can logically put here.

5. Kamper Rentals: As a former Kamper Rental myself, I of course can't sell this team short. Coming off a good year in the playoffs along with the legend that is Peirce Dravz on the team, 35 more single back plays sure isn't gonna stop them. Good team, though I'm skeptical on whether they can be a great one and truly contend for a championship.

6. Spokane Privateers: Everything I've read says this team is a bunch of nasty individuals. 15-1, a league championship, what more can you want. I know some will point to the Ground Pounders, but I definitely see Spokane competing for a playoff spot.

7. Chicago Hedgehogs: Feel free to call this a biased pick if you want, but as an owner who knows what went into last season's 4-12 record, as well as knowing who the 20 new players we brought in are, I needed to fight with myself to not rank them higher. Can a team that is 5-21 over their last 26 games really make a rebound? I suppose we'll find out, but I'm sipping the cool-aid.

8. Northwest Nighthawks: 14-2 last season, and they only lost to one team that isn't Spokane. A very well run squad, though they have a reputation of disappointing when predicted to win a league. Perhaps having to squabble for a playoff spot will suit them better, but tbh its always very difficult to rank AAA teams coming up.

9. Laredo Lesbians: 13-3 last season. Moving up to Pro is a big step. They showed the ability to do very well last year, but are they dominant? Also they better be hoping that their stomping by CCCC in the championship game was a fluke, or else they may be in for a long season. I'd predict they'll be fighting for a playoff spot though.

10. San Diego Demolition. I'll rank them here because they are a very good team that knows what they are doing. Though tbh, with a recent ownership change as well as a seeming lack of time by GMs to gameplan, I am skeptical of what they will do this season. They will likely show their stripes early and we'll know after the first couple weeks if they are a contender or not.

11. New Jersey Battalion. Losing to CCCC by 10 in the playoffs doesn't make you bad, but it also doesn't necessarily make you good. Despite only going 12-4 in AAA, I'll take a shot in the dark that they cope better than most.

12. Carson City Cubes. Last season they were undefeated against other teams in the east aside from being 0-2 vs the Naked Mole Rats. Could have the talent to contend for the playoffs in Pro, but who knows....

13. Portland Aftershocks. Going 14-2 and losing a AAA championship game isn't too shabby at all. Hopefully should be a solid team this season, but I'm not yet convinced...

14. Dread City Diabolicals: Takes a lot of guts to not gut. I'll be rooting for these guys, but from an outside perspective I have no idea if they made the changes which needed to be made.

15. Timpanogos Thunder: The last team to be promoted and unfortunately I doubt they fair very well this season. The fact that they missed out on recruiting as a USA Pro team certainly does not help their case.

16. West Scranton Invaders: Thanks bort....

Hopefully you guys enjoy them and give me a little positive reinforcement. Again, its extremely difficult to do these, especially considering AAA teams which I know nothing about will end up placing all over the map, and someone has to miss the playoffs, so... *shrugs*

I do however hope that any teams who are used to success who start out 1-4 don't mid-season gut like a bunch of crybaby quitters.

You have got to be fucking kidding me Wise. WTF is this Bullshit?

These rankings are very good and there is not much I would change. Great job. Thanks for bringing some solid info to the table in place of CV's.

nice job w/ these WiSe.

Timpanogos, we were in your position (no USA Pro recruiting, called up on last day of offseason last season of S9) and went 11-5. It can be done but get to work on gameplanning now or it's going to be a very rough ride.

Yeah, we've proven we can't hang with the elite teams like Minnesota and Lincoln, and it's not like the Wolfpack would ever lose to an inferior team in the playoffs or anything. We'll never really be a contender.

EDIT: On second thought, our receiving bar is only a 57, so we'll probably suck.

I agree. Potentially, any team in the west may have a shot at the playoffs outside of WSI. I think when you get ready for the jump to Pro, the ability to adjust and gameplan from week to week becomes very important. Unfortunately, without watching a fuckload of games, its very difficult to guess which teams will make the jump. But as ws said, a 15th place ranking is by no means an automatic death sentance.

If I get 6/8 playoff teams right, I will have considered my predictions a success.

Well we managed to beat #2 and #3 last season, but got destroyed by #4, so these rankings sound pretty accurate to me.

Hounds underrated imo.

I added two players to KKAR this season, so I'd drop them down to about 11th

yeah, i suspect we'll take our lumps this season, and yeah, we definitely lost out on some recruits who were "waiting to see if we went pro or not" during standard promotions.... but with retirements looming we figured it was best to move up now to get a little extra recruiting power for the future.. with so much movement in the Pro leagues this season (WL and relegations) i figure this season was a good as any to move up.

hopefully we'll surprise a few teams avoid relegation ... we do have a fairly decent record with teams that moved up with us.. couple scrimmage wins at least, and somehow gave spokane their only loss of the season... although i think maybe that's what pissed em off, considering they've been a terror ever since.

WSI is auto relegating so only one other spot (15th) to worry about and my hunch is you'll avoid it.

I agree. Even in a worst-case scenario (other than Timpanogos giving up or something) I can't see them being lower than 14th at the end of the season.
