WHAT??

You need to be working on your blocking. It needs to be at 68. Strength needs to be first capped. Get some points in run block ability. This player is way behind. You obviously built him as a recieving TE so where is the jumping and vision and sticky hands? Either way, this TE has to be able to run block and he can't do it.

F

Work on your run blocking then we can talk

Ain't gonna happen...it would be a waste. Jumping? Vision?? Sticky Hands??? I'm currently working on speed, then vision. Jumpin at 48 is better then most OLBs that will cover him.

Anyone else??

well...ummm. hmmm. ummm yeah ummmm. yeah your stu stu stupid. Shut your mouth

RW, if you're gonna work on speed then why in the fuckare you asking people for opinions? Are you just wanting to show him off? If so, thats nothing to brag about, believe it.

Whats jumping? Jumping helps you catch poorly thrown balls THATS ALL. A LB isn't the only player that you have to worry about. The SS generally covers you man to man in alot of formations. That TE is garbage. Teams don't want a TE that can just catch a damn ball and run fast with it. They want someone that can block that LB you're talking about burning. You can hang it up against a fairly decent DE. You suppose to be a pass catcher and you aren't even working on the right attributes to be one. Retire him and start over, period

He is making a reciving tightend i am assuming a Kellen Winslow type becuase of the name therfore he wont be great blocker. It all depends on the teams you are with runnign teams want blockign tightends passing teams want reciving tightends and balanced teams generally want balanced tightends.Besides Tightends even blockign ones arnt expected to pancake DE's and LB's there job is to hodl there block for a few seconds to slow them down. His build is not really crap for a reciving TE while i think it could use some more strength and vision overall it isnt a bad build.Reciving tightends should be judged more liek possesion or strength built recivers

rating 7/10 strength and vision to next cap and then id give it a 8/10

lol...sorry but you have no idea about the game.
ever heard about custom slots, receiving & blocking TEs?

@topic
you have too many SAs for your level. would go for more speed for sure...then probably vision to 61
dont forget carrying...and stamina

Thanks man...That's what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure. Done with SAs for awhile. Speed, Vision...training carrying right now, and stamina. will do.

Oh...and thanks for educating Packers27 about GLB tight-ends...this ain't the real world buddy.

Thanks man...this is what I was looking for. Though I would say this: in GLB as the players go up in levels, the ones that specialise are much more effective. A balanced TE doesn't work in GLB...they tend to get picked up as just blocking TEs.

Look, it's obvious that you need to get a better understanding of GLB as a whole...this is dot ball, not real football. You're right that the SS covers TEs a lot...but my guy has been pretty successful against them and even double teams. The thing is, if the SS is the TE then it isn't cover 2 which means a field day for the WRs...which is okay by me also. Oh and this line points out your serious lack of GLB knowledge: "Teams don't want a TE that can just catch a damn ball and run fast with it.". Actually...most teams NEED a good TE as they attack the middle of the field way better then you think.

Good Luck...you walking meat stick.

Hahaha, you're stubborn.

Whats the point in asking advice if you've got your mind set on your plans??? Was it just a confirmation? Are you unsure? You gotta be. Football speed is more addictive than the drug, hahaha. Here's the thing about your TE. You are underleveled in a Canadian AA league but you're fast enough to get in the middle of the field. Your TE is an 88 already. By waisting time on speed, you will be crippling him more. He needs to learn how to block. My TE can block better than you, hahahaha. What you do need is Underdog. Defenses don't even worry about you. You are a light-weight. With underdog, your TE will catch more passes, but you haven't developed the rest of his receiving skills

lmao. You deal with him, not me. I'd retire him immediately and quit fooling yourself and everyone else

Blocking TEs gets pancakes. Receving TEs don't. High level TEs suppose to do both. If he can't then he is considered weak.

When you've got RBs that can run over defenses like ours, then you need a TE that knows how to block. A blown block attempt = tackle given up in the backfield. BUT HE SURE CAN CATCH A BALL AND MAKEUP FOR THE FUCKUPS HE HAS MADE

YIPPPY, HIP HIP HORRAYYY.

Those TEs are dime a dozen and useless.

My SS is a level 34. On some plays, his main purpose is to shut down the TE because our CBs are lockdown guys. I cover guys like you all of the time. Your speed is only good for LBs, not for secondary. Contrary, the TE does better when I'm in outer zones of course. Opponents that play with the AI knows who you are. You're not gonna kill anyone with that speed even though thats what you're trying to do. He can't block either. Wtf, I've already rated this clown. Why am I trying to cram knowledge in a thick skull?

An education is a good thing man...and seeings how you've been around since season 5 I thought that you'd have figured a few things out by now. Such as this:

1) I asked for advice on my build...not some dickhead coming in and tearing it apart. If you don't have something for a RECIEVING TE...then don't say anything

2) In GLB you need to have both a blocking TE and a recieving TE. All the high level TEs from season 1 are being phased out because they were never really good at either...only acceptable. When the game went to TE slots, it became possible to have a recieving and a blocking specialist. You could make sure that the pass catching TE was only in to catch balls in other words.

3) Pancakes are a useless stat...ask anyone one whose been on a winning team...pointless. It's only schlubs like yourself that wander around thinking they're important.

4) Last time I checked, past level 21 you need to start developing something they call a passing game...you can't just run the ball. But you're a football genius...you already knew that right?

Anyways, I give you a failing grade for your help...grab a clue before you post next.

Who says "past 21" and I know I'm not a genius obviously you aren't either but I do have common sense.

Want a suggestion? Go after Underdog. Drill a hole through your think ass head and cram Underdog in it.

so in short you are trying to hell him, he would do better versus a SS-coverage if he had higher blocking? or that he wouldnt get pancaked? or that he would be wide open more often if he had less speed? you have noticed that (if the OC knows the basics of the game) this tight end is never on the field when a rushing play is called?
