How important is it. Am I going to be kicking myself for leaving it at 20 and going 3AGI, 4SPD, 1TCK (where I'm at right now).

Should I try and rescue it with SP? its ~24

I just moved my LOLB to ROLB. He currently has 65 vision. I'll let you know how it goes.

I would say you definitely want it at least to 50 by level 30.
I think I had 50 by 24 and am now up to 60 at level 36.
Vision is pretty big for LBs.

Vision is HUGE for LB's. My lvl 55 LOLB (plays in AAA) had 67 last season and he still reacted more slowly than I figured he would on certain plays, especially runs on the opposite side of the field.

Vision for a Blitzer is really not all that important. Let's be real... he has one target and one target only. If you DC can't figure out how to properly utilize you... then that's a problem. But vision should be one of the last things touched if you're truly going to make a BEASTLY atheltic pass rushing LB.

Right.
it's important but it's not agility, speed, tackling or even jumping

Right, IMO you only need enough to be able to pick up on a screen or run adequately.

I disagree. The snap delay penalty is pretty severe, even with 60 vision, especially when lined up wide of the OT. I haven't tried Jump the Snap VA, but my ROLB didn't react well to the snap until vision was pushed past 60. Vision is going to be even more important this season, so I would not neglect it.

Kind of off topic, but when you line up wide of the OT did you have more success with Elusive, Combo, or Power rushing style? I figure power would take the most direct route to the QB, but wasn't sure if you would get caught up on the OT more.

Purely from a pass rush standpoint, my LB was more productive playing on elusive pass rush. He switched to power rushing to play heavy-running teams, and recorded a number of TFL's on weak-side runs, although he was pancaked a ton using power. To be honest, I think quality of opponent was more of a factor than tactics.

I don't believe jumping is all that important for a pass rushing ROLB.
