I still think a compression of the pee-wee leagues does it a lot better. People overestimated the league demand and now we have CPU teams everywhere. I can't say I like the feeder-sub-feeder-pro system because it seems like it's the same problem with the quality-of-competition, but with a new coat of paint.

I hope the number of leagues are reduced.

That being said, love the idea, hope it goes good well, hopefully we'll end up in pro or at least near it.

I'm going to cover all my bases just in case:

Seriously, though, no matter what at least it's a step in the right direction, and at least Bort finally did something for all those Pee Wee owners who have been pushing for something like this...

I mean your happy to get in, then think oh sh!t what have a gotten myself into, and if you don't get in then your happy with the free trophy in S11 (in a lower level league) but still pissed at the same time that you didn't get in. Complicated set of emotions (for me anyway).

I'm not so sure the feeder leagues will be all that easy, I thinks they'll be closer to a league 5 or 10 level of competition, which means no free trophies. Especially this first season as there will be a lot of good teams that wont make it, get a few of those in the same conference and there's a suddenly difficult trip to the pros in front of you.

I was disappointed at first, because I believe Chico has the credentials to be considered an elite team. However, as I thought about it, I am really happy to be in a feeder league and yeah--it's not going to be easy.

I'd like to get another season under my belt before going pro as last season was my first and I'm still learning the Peewee ropes, but if we end up there, so be it....we'll do what we can to compete.

There are 600+ teams on the waitlist though.

I hope it goes down to 1 pro, 2 feeders, 16 sub feeders -- 19 in total, down from 25 total last season.
