OK first let me thank Audiophanatic for all his work and effort in doing what he is doing, I dont think he gets enough credit.

But IMO this has been a total Clusterf*ck. We need good solid rules for these types of things, Pro Bowl and Post Season Awards.

First Off we need Active people throughout the season to be involved with this, we cant just let anyone nominate thier player and have to sort through 10 players for one spot and then here how if it wasnt for this One guy in this One important game this One team would have went 0-16.

Second Stats are easily manipulated and teams sometimes takes games to jell on one side of the ball or the other, and some players might not have Eye Popping Stats but the stats they do have came vs top notch competition or in high pressure situations. For people to have a few days to go through this it would be more of a League Leader list than a Pro Bowl List.

What I think we should do is Start our own Team threads maybe called "LA Looters Players". In these threads each agent of thier player can make a Post about thier Player, and each game EDIT that post and update that players stats and Post important HighLights.

That way when the season is over Instead of seeing a line like this
73 Tackles, 3 Sack, 1 INT, 3 FF, 1 FR, 3 PD
You would go to that teams thread and that players post and see what they did each week and vs. who.

Now if we decide to do something like this, then each owner would have to tell thier players to post thier players stats and HIGHLIGHTS (Very Important) in thier Team Thead on the BBB#8 Main Fourm.

If a player doesnt want to then why have a silent person who probably doesnt care anyway on the Pro Bowl team, if you care about your player, for Good or Bad, I think you would want to post his stats and HighLights each game and have a thread in which you can Edit One Post over and over each game.

I think this can clear up some of the Pretty stats and shows who is the most consistent and plays the best vs the best better than anyother way and in a nice orderly manner.

This is just an idea and hopefully most like it and we can work on it so we can start on it before the season starts.

imo this whole pro bowl thing is wack, no offense to anyone who submitted but i mean come one every one just submitted their own player, very few people nominated anyone else

but thats just my opinion and i just didnt submit any of my players, i have no problem with other teams doing it, we just won't be in the PRO BOWL it just seems lame to me to nominate your own player, or another player on your team, if anything have a commitee of 8 owners, gms and a chair to cast tie breaker only and let them pick'em, they ( the comitee members ) would be chosen by way of votes after making a case to the rest of the league via forum thread

that idea may suck just as bad, doesnt really matter to me JMHO

Getting active people is going to be the problem more than anything. The people who posted nominees and the ones voting are the same that have been active all year. Malachorns Pittsburg Steel topic has brought more people out of the woodwork than anything I've put up lol.

that's true, getting nough active users is a problem


btw audio, thanks for everything you do for the league, it wouldnt be the same without you, someone posted this earler, you dont get enough credit and recognition for what you do

being the owner of the greyhounds i can relate to being overlooked, i dont think anyone has picked us in any of our playoff games, but here we are

I thought the pro bowl was for people to nominate their own players and have the league vote on them. Surely we're not counting votes from GMs or Owners that voted their own players....

The one time I actually voted for the Pro Bowl in the NFL, I pretty much just voted for players that I liked.

TD i think he's right about the league voting once a player is nominated

The good news is that this game has no expiration date, and we have plenty of time to iron out the kinks. I did ask that no one VOTE for their own player, though they were free to nominate them. I've received a lot of ballots back already, I will cross check to make sure that has held true.
