I'm not sure about the West but in the East there was pretty much decent parity in 45% of the East.

No Parity in the West at the end of the year.
9 Teams that could beat anyone at the end of the year. (Though One that is Head and SHoulders above the rest so far)
3 who could beat anyone but the 7.
4 Who couldnt beat any of the 12 above them.
IN those categories, IMO, there is parity.

9 teams who could beat anyone? Thats over half the conference. Sounds like some parity to me. I'm sure every team was involved, that number would be higher.
