Predictions? I personally think it will be a low-scoring rushing game like the last time we played them. Last time it went 16-9 on a last minute TD, this time lets turn that around. Too close to predict IMO
not to take anything away from Washington, but I'm glad we're going against Sheboygan. They're a top notch team. Good luck, and hopefully the winner can bring the championship home for Alpha.
Yeah as I said on the Zeta picks, its much harder to see what will happen in Alpha, because there is no massive chemistry thing giving a team an advantage like my team has over Rome.
We will see who wins out in Alpha .. yall are conservative teams with good defenses.
If its a blowout, I see CT blowing out Sarajevo doing that, because they are less of a grind it out team. But on the other hand, if it ends up being tight and a grinding game, that is where Sarajevo shines. Who knows there, like I said in the Zeta thread, levels has to go to Sarajevo, but tactics and win streak/proven ability seems to go to CT.
This is actually an exciting game and one of yall will get some hardware from it and probably get the chance to face Prague (no slight Hazy, again I just think the chemistry thing will kill you even if it is a tight game). If Rome wins .. it would be a repeat of the Alpha CCG for the League CCG.
Not that I think we will win... I imagine it will be competitive again but if we lose it won't be because of chemistry. Chemistry has a MAXIMUM effect of 9% on some (not all) of your skills (this is per Bort). That 9% comes in when one team has 10 in chemistry, and the other has 100. So it's 1% per 10 difference in chemistry which means your chemistry advantage over Rome equates to 2.8% overall, 1.1% offense, 1.5% defense. So basically an offensive player with say 50 in speed will have it reduced to 49.45, a defensive player with 50 in speed will have it reduce to 49.25. A difference... sure... but not one that is going to cost a team a game. If our chemistry was below 50, I think you could make that statement, but it's not.
Anyway, will be fun regardless. Maybe we can not turn the ball over in the 4th this time.
Originally posted by Randy03Texags Hrm I did not know that chemistry was so insignificant Hazy, well then nope I guess it will be a tough low scoring game like last time
I hope so. It'll either be that or a blowout, depends on if we turn the ball over more than once. If we do, we have no shot.
