I agree with all 3 of these. Great picks, awesome that Montana got picked. Can't ask for a better QB to be honest. There's alot of qb's which I'm sure where really close too.

Good picks guys.

Check Rayne Stormsetters stats lead both leagues in passing and tied for td's and had a lower number of picks and before someone says brawlers one more games I would accept that if it was the mvp but its not

I cannot speak for everyone, but I voted for Joe Willie Montana and I will explain my reasoning. It is true that Rayne had more yards and TDs, however he only had 300 more yards than Montana but threw the ball 119 more times. Montana's completion percentage was better (65.3/59.2), QB rating higher (89.7/81.9), and he led his team to an undefeated regular season. It was a tough choice, but based on the above reasons I voted for Montana. Hopefully that clarifies things a bit

An example of this happening in real life is the 1998 NFL season, where Randall Cunningham won the MVP even though he was 5th in passing yards and 2nd in TDs while Steve young led in both of those categories, but Cunningham led his team to a 15-1 regular season and had a better QB rating , so he was given the nod.

Like you said, we haven't thrown nearly as much as some of these teams. In fact we led the whole league in rushing most of the year. Montana still comes out as one of the best QBs in the league. If we would have thrown all season...ye...but that can go for other teams too.
