With the World League and even Hazy's tournament being limited to only a certain group of teams, I thought I would create a tournament open to the whole community of GLB, well most of it anyway. Please read the official rules below before entering.
Official Sign Up Rules (may change by Day -2, Season 11)
1. A team may enter if they have an overall scouting bar of 57 or higher. It is required in your application that you provide the link to your matchup bar.
2. 128 team limit will be set. If we have over 128 applicants we will be forced to cut the field down to 128. If less then 128 teams apply all teams will be able to participate although some may have to participate in "play in games."
3. The deadline for applying is Season 11, day -2
4. If the number of applicants ranges from 65-127, we will trim the field down to 64 teams using play in games, and then proceed in a double elimination tournament. The loser of the play in games will be eliminated.
5. If 16-64 teams apply, we will hold a double elimination tournament. The losers of these play in games will go to the losers bracket.
6. If 128+ teams apply, we will cut the field down to 128 teams by seeding formulas, and then proceed with a single elimination torunament.
7. If 0-15 teams apply, the tournament will be cancelled.
8. The official schedule and time frame will be posted in the Prviate Forum and main thread.
9. Please accept the private forum invite and post in the check in thread.
10. Seeding will be done mainly by using Bort's promotion formula, while taking into account the overall bar and league.
