We just lost in the 1st round of the playoffs

We needed to attack with long passes, but my QB was mostly throwing 5-6 yard passes.

my rather uneducated guess would be a little of both if you want long passes the settings I would imagine to be best would be

passing priority + 100
scramble / almost never
HB dump/ Never
Favor/Yes
Throw away / aggressive
favorite target / possibly if you have a favorable matchup

and a gameplan to maximize these settings

Its you passing priority. If you want to wait and throw long you should be in the positives
