My take on the Best (and worst) of the Best

Offensive Player of the Year-Pierce Dravz-Huge year for the Rentals. 48 TD's and 6,100 Yards plus throwing the ball. Everyone knew that KKAR was going to throw the ball(their leading rusher had 383 yards on 2.5 YPC) yet Dravz put up great numbers Game in and Game out.

Defensive Player of the Year-Jimmy Johnston-JJ made is USA PRO debut season one to remember. 39 sacks-37 Hurries and 15 forced fumbles with no games against Gut jobs to pad his stats. He just needs to work on his pass coverage a bit and Monmouth might let him start.

Owner of the Year-wsdp-Great job shutting up all the the people (my self included) that said Nashville either didn't belong or wouldn't be here very long. Making the playoffs with an 11-5 record is very impressive.

Most Disapointing team-WSI-I guess USA PRO was a bit tougher than they thought. Definite case of be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Their 11 losses this year were 11 more than they had lost in their last 4 regular seasons combined in OPL.

Top Special Teams Player-Reggie- Smith-A threat to bring it to the house every time he touched the ball.

DC of the Year-Jdros13-Allowed only 14 PPG against the best conference in GLB. Only DC to control the Wolfpack's awesome O.

OC of the Year-Thehazyone-Ok so they don't pass much...WW's ground game is so diverse it's almost impossible to stop and they average 68 FREAKING POINTS a game...None of those against gut jobs.

Thanks for the shoutout CV... every category is well deserved and thoughtout. If WSI isn't willing to accept their honors, I have a backup in mind

Thanks again CV

thanks CV...I really was being honest when I told you we weren't missing the playoffs though I didn't have us pegged at 11-5 either! If I thought we sucked, I would have admitted it. I wasn't trying to troll you. I just could see the changes we made and how much of a difference they made faster than you could from the outside.

BTW, I would give wsdp OC of the year before owner of the year (not that he isn't a great owner! ). That 0-3 start was before he overhauled our outdated offense. The changes he made were what turned the season around and he's been scouting his ass off all season.

PS, thx for picking against us tomorrow. No offense, just that we like being the underdog! Gives the head coach more material for the pregame speech.

WSI had 11 losses from Season 3 - Season 9. In 112 regular season games.

They got 11 in Season 10 from 16 regular season games.

U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Cav and wspd both deserve most resilient owner. Starting 0-4 and 0-3 respectively and responding by making the playoffs and both have already beaten the team they're up against in the 1st round so you have to like their odds of advancing.

I think one guy DEFINITELY deserve to be mentioned, that might be because I'm a kicker guy at heart....

Puchtit Wright - Washington Wolfpack - This strong legged kicker averaged 77.0 yards per kickoff this season, the highest I have seen recorded (even playing one gutted team, 77.5 taking out that game) . He boomed well over 85% of his kickoffs as touchbacks. The easiest way to neutralize the deadly return men in USAPL is to prevent any and all returns. No one did that better than Puchtit this season!

...and even though he's in the east, it's worth mentioning cuz as I said, I love kickers!

Rooster Andrews - Washington Slashers - Perfection would be a good word to describe Rooster this season. 57 of 57 field goals and 100 of 100 extra points. I suppose we should overlook that one 51 yard miss in the opening scrimmage of the season in the Beltway Bowl. No other kicker has had a finer season in USAPL.

But the real question is will you send me his build?

Thanks for putting this together CV. Having a return man in USA Pro is ridiculous. It seems like every kicker can send it sailing out of the endzone more often than not. You're opportunities to shine up here are few and far between.
