Build exactly like you would any other NT, but pump Speed up to the 5th cap. Anybody thought of this yet?

I think it would work good. Everyone is so intent on having the NT just be a big fat load with nothing to do other than taking up two blockers on run plays. Of course there is nothing wrong with that. I would like to see a n.t. dedicated to pass rusher. My D.T. owns when he plays NT, sometimes.

I am building an NT with some quicks but he is only level 10 right now.

what attribute would you lower to get those SPs?

I think he would sacrifice SAs/DLG.

+1, thats what I would do...I dont think you need SA's until after level 40.

Or never. That's what AEQ is for. 2 pieces of Shed Blocks means 11 SB at level 56. Why put any points into it?

I just might do that with my NT. I don't know if I'll take speed to 5th cap, but I'll probably pump it to 68 and see how that fares.

Tons of NTs with 68 speed at higher levels.

And if you don't get lucky? You could spend so much time rolling for the AEQ that you don't have the BTs to upgrade 2 pieces.

my current 21 cap team uses only speed rush guys...both our NTs are converted speed rush guys so their str is a bit low as agil was capped first on them both and speed a bit higher than where it would normally be. they work ok but can suffer vs inside runs from the I as the center usually pushes them out of the way...now if they break that block they get a solid lick on the hb or eat the fb block which is nice and they play the off tackle runs pretty well as the C and most Gs cant block them. and ya UnderDogs sometimes they really own but other times just get pushed around.
