So on my team there are a couple similar built WRs. However I have like twice as many drops as they do. I am really not sure why this is the case. Most of our stats are VERY similar, like within a couple of points. I do have twice the TDs as they do, but I could have more and be a better receiver if I could get a handle on my drops. Stats as follows for a Lev27 WR:

Attributes
Physical Attributes
Strength: 10
Speed: 72.2
Agility: 67.2
Jumping: 23.2
Stamina: 27.2
Vision: 39.2
Confidence: 39.39

Football Skills
Blocking: 8
Catching: 51.2
Tackling: 8
Throwing: 10
Carrying: 39.39
Kicking: 8
Punting: 8

Thanks for looking.

How high should I put those?

You need strength to stop drops. So train it up some as soon as you get a chance IMO.

You might find this hard to believe, but Catching is the primary attribute for, well, catching. Lots of factors go in to determining a catch, but if you're seeing normal drops (not drops due to Knocked Loose), Catching is the first place to look. You'll want it considerably higher than 51 but that's not a bad number at your level. If most of your drops are coming from balls being Knocked Loose, then Carrying and Strength may be the place to look.

lvl 27and 51 catching is good enough for a long time. Vision would help you in this situation. As far as knocked loose drops... what Drake said is correct.

The team that your receiver is on has quite a few blowout victories. You probably fell victim to that "coasting" bullshit that was implemented once a team gets up by so much. It's unfortunate that your receiver was the target on those passes, but I have a feeling it could have been any receiver on your team. I know my wide out has dropped wide open passes because we were up big.

Does sure hands help with getting the ball knocked loose or have the caught the ball and that prevents the sure hands from coming into play?

I haven't had too many balls knocked loose, it just seems to be flat out drops. Wide open, just plain drops. NOTE: I am excluding bad throws by the QB and deflections... Flat out drops. I'd post examples but I'm too lazy to look for the moment.

Get your strength up to about 28 and you'll see your drops and knocked loose cut in half. Strength is the low hanging fruit hurting your secure catch rolls so any little bit of an increase in it will really help. Train str/jumping and str/blk. Your HBs will appreciate you more with the str/blk training.

Listen to this. Do not listen to this:

No offense but that's just horrible advice. To counteract the balls knocked loose (if this is what's causing your drop problem)
Train Carrying.
