Seeing that CV put together a nice list for the other conference, and OTR all but mathematically eliminated my squad from the postseason, here is my guess on ours.

1. Cincinnati Shockers 16-0 - Don't see ***O*** pulling out all the stops, likely saving it for the playoffs
2. ***O*** 13-3 - See above, tie breaker over the Blaze.
3. New Jersey Blaze 13-3 - Only losses to the two teams above and a tough game against the Slashers, I see them pulling off a close one against the Gurupies, making a nice opening season
4. Indianapolis Gurupies 13-3 - One tough loss and a very good win against OTR to finish the season.
5. Washington Slashers 12-4 - Finish the season strong setting up a very good 4 v 5
6. OTR 10-6 - Beat both teams below.
7. Alpine Golfers 10-6 - Start the season with four losses, finish winning 10 of 12.
8. NAN 10-6 - Finish the season with 3 wins to meet the Shockers in the first round...

Just outside
9. Washington Bullets 8-8 - .500 not good enough for the USAPL playoffs
10. Columbus Woodys 8-8 - Threw the game today against OTR to avoid playing the Shockers again.

First Round
Shockers vs NAN - 80-10 Shockers in reg season, have fun NAN
***O*** vs Golfers - 28-27 Golfers in the reg season. Close game once again.
Blaze vs OTR - 39-6 Blaze in the reg season. I feel OTR will make some adjustments and will be a very close game.
Indianapolis vs Slashers - 33-21 Gurupies in reg season, I have no clue which way this one will go.

Second Round
Shockers vs Slashers - 71-13 Shockers in reg season, Only picked the Slashers because, seriously, does it really matter?
***O*** vs Blaze - 24-13 ***O*** in reg season, Blaze pull out an upset to face the Shockers in the Final

Final
Shockers vs Blaze - 44-15 Shockers in reg season, Shockers win, but closer than original game.

Shockers vs West Winner
Shockers vs whoever - Shockers win...

Thoughts?

Thanks for doing this, Mo. Alpine owns the tiebreaker over NAN but OTR beat us. How do 3ways work (lol)? Points scored or point differential or something else?

Yea, you guys lost a real close one. Woodys really recovered well this season. If the slashers held NAN off, you guys would be right in there.

a source says that in a 3 way tie, they go by points scored

3 way tiebreaker:

anyone who beats both teams wins.
if its Big 12 South type tie, it goes to points scored I believe. Kinda silly, but oh well.

OTR actually beat both NAN and Alpine already, fixed, no three way tie.

Alpine- 337 points
NAN- 722 points
OTR- 863

However, Alpine plays the Steel and Buckeyes their final 2 games so they can make up some points there.

So how do we determine who gets 7 and 8 between NAN and Alpine? Points because it was at first a 3 way or head to head because OTR would be taken out of the equation?

As I recall, it goes back to head to head.

If the groupies beat the blaze, then the slashers and the blaze will both end the season 12-4

Who would get fourth seed?

Whoever won in the game between them (assuming they are the only teams at 12-4).

I think we can keep it closer with the Shockers. But I would be shocked if we won...anything is possible I guess. Looks like we will be putting in some long hours for that game

Rot, we still have to actually beat the Woodys and the Hammer.

Pardon our CFO. He just wants more $$$ to play with.
