Well, assuming no one hangs it up...
in season 11, there will be 4. I'm just going to throw names down based on today's standings - Cinci/O MEM/WW
In season 12, those 4 will stay. 2 more go - Gurupies / MM
In season 13, 2 more go - Slashers/HHW
In season 14, 2 more go - Blaze/KKAR
In season 15, 2 more go - OTR/Vikings

At most - 12.
How many of those teams will have missed the playoffs in the world league? Maybe 1 or 2 at most will have had an off season and missed. So, I'm going with 10, minus any temas that fold while in the world league. I think having about 8 or so USA teams making the playoffs each season is probably pretty stable.
Of course, I have no idea how the decline is going to affect the stability of franchises, either.

I think he was asking how many of the 32 teams currently in USAPL will still exist (ie, won't gut or drop down to the minors and start over).

In 4 more seasons i'm guessing half the league will still be around while the other half will gut or collude or something so 16

Exactly. If we knew what teams are doing to attempt to beat retirement this would be much easier. I say anywhere from 10-20 though.

Well, if the World League goes through, you'll have at least 8 teams coming up instead of 4. I'm sure there will be two or three teams fold this offseason as well. Then of course, Nashville will get demoted too.

12 at most. Of the top 4 teams in each conference, my guess is that only 5 total will remain. There are top teams folding up every season, and we are talking about 4+ seasons from now.

Of the 8 teams finishing 5-8, I guess 5 will also remain. This number would be lower, but the World League will keep a couple of these teams more competitive and prolong their life.

Of the teams that miss the playoffs this season, my guess is that only 2 of the 16 will be in US Pro or higher in Season 15.

Edit: Last line might be a little higher. Maybe 4 instead of 2. A couple of teams might go down, but get bumped back up soon because there will be more space in US Pro with the World League siphoning off the top teams.
